Having a truly elite QB is such a hard thing to obtain though. How many guys right now would you label a for real 100% elite currently? Mahomes for sure but who else would you say currently?

I wouldnt blame the loss solely on Purdy and he has done a heck of a job from where he started. He may not be Mahomes or Tom Brady but he is a decent QB and has a future. Who knows, he may develop further and become even better each season. He gets a lot of hate and I dont really get it. He seems like a likeable humble guy and him being an underdog to me makes him easy to root for to have a good career (not against the Panthers of course).

Thats pretty rough and uncalled for to do to that old overweight guy. He could have been pissed screaming without practically knocking the old guy down.

Bid slightly higher I guess...? Not break the bank higher but slightly higher within reason maybe.....?

I dont know what else to do if Bryce does not pan out next year either. I do like a few guys ideas of drafting a QB late every year in the 7th since 7th round odds are not great anyhow and you could find a hidden gem on a rare occasion. It doesnt overly excite me to go after a mediocre vet thinking we can fix everything either. We are definitely in a bad position if Bryce does not work out next season. Bad talent evaluations, bad trades for years and just plain bad decisions has really started to dig us deep down to the point that we have a heck of a long way to go to climb out of this hole.

You mean next years class doesnt have the talent that would be worth it in other words?

I would not draft any QB this draft. Let Bryce either get it and become something good or lead us to a high draft pick so we can draft his replacement next season.

I was thinking the same thing. I would never want the ball first in that OT format. I would always want the ball second to know what im up against and to be able to plan ahead from there what I will do. That decision left me scratching my head wondering why......

He doesn't strike me as the type who bitches in all honesty. Im sure he wanted out especially with the loser of a leader we had as head coach. I guess the guys who wanted him to fell a Super Bowl "L" got their wish at least!

There is not much to talk about when our season has been done for a while now. We need people like him who start threads to at least keep things going and flowing keeping others engaged where they don't just completely leave in the offseason until draft week then leave again until the regular season starts.

I think ole CamWhoaCam is a good dude. He is an odd fella but just a rabid fan and means no harm. I give him crap all the time for fun because I genuinely like the dude but don't think they are same person. That's sort of like my boy @CamWhoaaCam. He and I used to go at it a bit and he liked giving me ding dongs for reactions but once I stopped hitting on him and sexually harassing him we became buddies. Not as close as Eskimo brothers but I'm on his Christmas list now and played the skin bagpipe at his wedding so all was well that ended well. How's about a ding dong emoji for old times Cam?
