So far I have enjoyed Marshall and Haynes and that's about it. Oh and Tremble. I know Steve Smith said the pass wasn't intended for him but what do you want him to do? Pass on catching a touchdown?

Lance was drafted into the best situation of all the draft eligible QBs. The tight ends on NE should be good but that WR room is still not league average.

If they give him credit for completing three drops its still just a 57% completion percent. But then you would have to give credit to every QB this week who had a WR drop passes.

He finished the day 5 of 14 for 128 yards and 1 TD. Also took 4 sacks. After the 80 yard play there wasn’t much to celebrate there.

Drew Lock doesn't look like he is going to let Teddy take the job from him. Coaches in Denver said performance in the preseason will determine who starts. Lock came out hot.

OSU ran this play, the opposite direction, against Clemson in their playoff game last year. Rucker was super wide open as well. I think its because typically you don't teach a QB to roll one way and throw back the other.

I will take the same approach I did last year with Track in college. I won't get too up or too down. This was a good start but hopefully he can get time with the first team in preseason so we can see him with real talent around him going against other real talent.

Marshall should be great in the red zone as well. Its nice to have options this year.

Right. And if all goes well we won’t need anything close to Olsen numbers to look good. We have so many weapons on offense right now they will likely be option 4 or 5 on most passing plays.

He didn’t play at all with the 1st team. They bounced after Dalton came out which was the plan for this week. But the same could be said for Mac Jones playing against backups and NFL hopefuls. I’m sure both would have preferred to be running with the 1ns against the 1ns.

Tua was soooo close to having a perfect day though for week 1 of the preseason. Just chucked it into double coverage in the red zone. God I’m so happy football is back. Worried tomorrow will be slightly boring though with our starters not playing.

Mitch T started preseason 10-10 with a TD. Let’s not sprain ankles jumping on and off bandwagons before week 3-4.
