  1. That's not what I keep hearing. I am actually with you. Green Bay game last year proves the Panthers did not ruin him. How does a ruined player do that?
  2. We wake up in it daily. But thinking he is going to come on and take this team 4-6 the rest of the way? That's kind of unlikely. Worst case might be he looks really good for a half, gets injured, and people have all that time to talk themselves back into him.
  3. They will use all the scout team WRs Bryce has been secretly building up the new offense with, none on film. The first scripted drive goes straight down the field, for 3 big time points. Not sure about the rest of the game.
  4. I tend to think just keep him we have no one, unless it is a one sided trade in our favor.
  5. I think the scouts might be my new 'thing' now that Bryce has settled the big question. Because if you are talking about QB, and citing the team's scouting system people for, say, the Bryce failure, that is kind of a straw man. I don't they were much involved in picking which quarterback to take number one. What I think was mostly the overall issue with our rosters and bad drafts? The yearly parade of coaching staffs, coodinators, and front office power shifting (Rhule roster control, then Fit, whatever that was). Every draft different coaches had influence over who was scouted or what was scouted and they pretty much straight up gave coaches players (Evero and DJ Johnson for example, Zavala and Campen too). It is understandable that you'd want to help your position coaches build their rooms and get the DC his guy or the OC his guy that he sees as a fit for his system... but you got no consistency year to year in who is picking them, who is coaching them. That is where the problem lies in my opinion. Not lower level scouts sending reports on a Big Ten offensive tackle. Whether he bends enough at the waist, how long his arms are, if he is an asshole or well liked by his teammates.... because that is all they are doing. Collecting, culling, that sort of thing.
  6. I don't know about Clowney though. We are so broke there at that position and he is signed for next year. What would he even bring?
  7. Been looking for a gif that shows a very promising young athlete, much loved by all, that went to the dark side in his early 20s and is a worthless bum at 30. If I could find that it would be here.
  8. There is no reason to buy in on the Pats staying put.
  9. He’ll get some early on a scripted drive. Then you have garbage time 2nd half, over 100. Less than 150.
  10. The spread is all about getting the most bets down, and keeping the money as even as possible between both teams. More than an actual estimate of the score. People forget that.
  11. I should have said other people needed it, because I knew. I knew you knew, you knew I knew, and we both knew at least half the people needed to see more because they hadn't seen enough to know that they knew - and told us all about it every chance there was. We did not want Dante any more for whatever reason and people were fine with that trade as I recall. All I remember is the ALL IN to support Bryce and find out he is or is not the guy Which the people who begged for him not to be drafted, the whole eliminating the excuses thing was just a formality that had to be endured. Like games 4-17 of the 2023 season.
  12. I am glad we got him. Because he did create space between him and the defenders. He did his part in getting us to the place we needed to get to this year. We know it isn't the WRs or OL with Bryce, it was Bryce.
  13. It has not changed from game one 2023. I can look at it now and it looks normal because of watching normal Bryce. He has conditioned people into a new frame of reference for what NFL offense looks like. But that first game I remember writing stuff afterwards like where was the deep ball? It's like they refused to call it. I was totally baffled by what I saw vs what I expected to see. Then Dalton threw it in game three, and that was it for another year.
  14. I remember plenty of standing there watching a pass rusher go by, and the blocker didn't ever notice until they are by them. Stunts were guaranteed to get you free. But that was not every play and there were plenty of better executed snaps that people wouldn't allow to be factored in.
  15. Tepper isn't going anywhere either. A life with no NFL beckons, I hear it calling louder and clearer every season with him running poo.
  16. Talent attracts talent. Where is our talent? OL and maybe two guys on defense and one is gone for the year? Add in that nobody wants to play for Tepper or with Bryce and that's two big things.
