  1. I look at that like small picture/big picture. In tne small picture I enjoy the wins. Everything feels better when you win. In the big picture, you want more wins you have to address what might be in the way of that. I am sort a perfectionist and it comes easy to me. Naturally I guess. I want to improve stuff.
  2. We have one huge problem and I agree with you for now. I’m not that negative on the rest. I
  3. The thing about top drafted QBs is when a guy looks like a sure thing, the teams aren’t letting go of the pick. So it is luck of the draw if you do or do not get that lined up. The only time it makes sense to draft a guy is if you are really positive about him not because you are under duress due to a dire need. That’s like being at the bar at closing time and you haven’t hooked up - you might settle for something you want to chew your arm off the get away from in the morning.
  4. Yeah. But avoiding the negatives and sweeping them under the rug for the good feeling of a win is not going to solve those things and they will bite you in the rear. That ain’t offering much thatks positive but I guess you could ‘glass half full” something out of it. That comeback was something g those guys should be proud of. I don’t think it really matched the original from 2003 but that matters not inside the locker room.
  5. We’re just dumb and can’t see it. No vision. I said before this all started I don’t care to watch this college rollout off schedule thing. I want to watch the NFL game. Even if we do it well, it is inferior to what those guys are doing. To my eyes.
  6. Collaboration is important. If the coach trusts the player he will listen.
  7. The team fell for that late season averageness he displayed last year and got burned. You want to do that again? I don’t. But I sort of do agree that we are stuck with him as the starter. I can’t decide whether replacing him gets us into the playoffs so suffering through one last season is the price for freedom in 2026. Three ways to be free in 2026: He actually plays like a real NFL QB, The team sends him packing. Be completely out on tne Panthers until changes are made.
  8. T Mac is exactly Bryce’s ‘speed’. He is a real good match for his QB.
  9. Yeah we delusionals will tend to chirp over what we see as specious claims. I don’t think claiming that the receivers can’t play up to Bryce’s arm which is more or less what I’m seeing, is accurate. But that also doesn’t mean I think they can’t be improved. You guys just blot the actual deep game out of your consciousness to compensate down to his level.
  10. Well yeah but his arm is not unique. His mix of size, running ability and just being to deliver the blow which QBs just don’t do. Or didn’t. That is what separates him. I think. Passing wise and in particular deep ball wise there are other players that can pretty much make those throws. The velocity was major league with him but they can get a lot closer to Cam than Bryce can.
  11. You are trying too hard. what I mean is, the dimensions of the field are the same and it kind of stops there.
  12. That comeback on Sunday, I mean I downplayed it relative to the record it tied with Jake’s debut game. But it means a lot to this team. Maybe it helps them come together and play better going forward. We’ll see. You get the team built up enough, we could ascend quickly with the right QB in place.
  13. I don’t think they can really go there with the QB of the team. I mean look at the backlash even when we as fans do it. The labels come out. They don’t need to get labeled
  14. I loved Churchill he was a piece of work. Some great quotes out there. I have seen that there is scandalous stuff about him but I was never interested enough to pursue the details.
  15. First thing I though of with Brown is he is coming back from major injury and maybe they were trying to pace him a little. a guy new to the team asking for a play, and I guess they put it in for him. I am not super concerned.
  16. He has to watch film of this. Lol. I have never seen anything like that fumble. I don’t think.
  17. Yeah true good point. Uh, that tied the Jake Delhomme debut game . That was done with flair, in a half. Down 17-0 to the Jags here comes Jake all full of fire. Season opener of a Super Bowl year that set us on that path. I honor that poo. Yesterday was really, really good but Bryce did not drive that and it just wasn’t on the same level. Really good accomplishment, that the defense had a large hand in. And Canales took the ball out of Bryce’s hands for stretches. fuging RICO was great. I shouldn’t knock it, but it doesn’t compare. To me,
  18. He’ll always have that. And we’ll always have that great Andy game in LV
  19. Man, and these fans are arguing 20 yards. And the speed at WR, that is when you can take advantage of speed.. A fast guy is wasted at 20-25 yards he has to hold up or he runs out of range. Great for YAC at 25 yards yeah he can run away. But just look at that play.
  20. I am so with you on the price and the item we spent on.
  21. This is this approach that I favor. Bypass the big all in gamble and try some informed smaller bets. Spread it around. If you hit the payoff will be very good. A lot of QBs mature slower than others and if you can find one where the light is coming on, that is what you want. edit: Jake would be a great example of that. Wasn’t thinking about him but he was a major steal.
  22. game manager who made a couple good throws vs a dude who took over the game…
  23. I think you can be pleased that we won, and still understand the reality. Taking out draft position, I like winning.
  24. Yeah and I don’t think RICO is gonna win this one as great a game as he played, I am thinking Mayfield because he is a quarterback, put up great numbers and won his game. I thinkRico was great though and I could be surprised.
  25. Yes. I trust my eyes. But I can’t spend time rewinding and watching 11 guys on every play, lord. But you can tell who is getting beat who is winning plays, and get good feel for what the players are doing. I don’t gamble, I don’t set lineups, so perusing their scores is an okay way to spend a few minutes.
