Best and worst PFF grades from Panthers' Week 3 win
strato replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Chuba is a guy that runs smart and maximizes his ability. He won't win many footraces. You give him a little daylight on the edge he'll get you to the sticks most times and sometimes 15 or 20 before you know it. -
I don't feel like he has the big ceiling, that's about the sum of my analytical ability. I guess he is an upgrade over Pickett or whoever they had playing. I am rooting for him to keep Wilson on the bench because I am not a Wilson fan. He is Mr 50/50 ball to me.
-
That was a lot of fun. But it had a limited ceiling and we hit it a couple of times. You just weren't going to beat some teams without more. I was okay with that, that 1 win to 5 losses ratio was fuging wearing me out. And it was proven that having the top pick QB which was the argument against winning, isn't the magic bean that people think. The fact that Wilks took what he had, not even his coaching staff, and did that with it was discounted by a lot of people. And they were short handed on staff too.
-
Maybe they did. He didn't that impressive to me, but I know DJ wasn't happy about it.

Looks like I'll be quoting you all day so far. Yes I saw that. I didn't feel that it was taking the foot off the gas like someone else said. Naturally they get to adjust at the half and hopefully slow us down too, but no AT was a handicap. We'll have the week to get that squared away.
-
Except Fitterer didn't get hired there until July. I guess he was there in spirit. Also, for all the people saying Chicago fuged up to make yourselves feel better, it's true they probably did. But... house money. Several consolation prizes included that they didn't fug up. They are still big winners. If they suck, there is an extra second to help out.
-
He has some players over there too. That team looked pretty good and we are going to have a tougher game than I was I was thinking.
-
It was a personal issue, you are not supposed to ask. JK. Guess we may find out more today.
-
yeah. And they pass on Stroud, like we did. But we heavily bribed them to do that so at least they have some consolation. I never scouted college QBs for the 2024 draft but Williams doesn't look much like a number one overall either so far. Seems like he likes yard ball too. I think we are seeing that a pocket QB can be very effective, especially against defenses geared to stopping yard ball most weeks.
-
I think he blocked someone on the play which technically probably saved him but I remember the play and somebody missed something for sure.
-
That radar stuff, we are well under with Bryce. Like, I don't think they will miss that little red headed blip out there closing fast on respectability.
-
I know they did I watched. But there he was missed, they got FGs not TDs in the 3rd, where the foot was still on the pedal. They have the week to adjust.
-
It was great to see the offense look fresh (not stale) and you could tell they are detail oriented. We have a series of tests coming that will give us some answers. If he can counter when they adjust to his first couple of games we are probably going to be in business. He is going to get schooled some too and seeing how he responds is going be educational. Hoping overall it looks like we want.
-
I am guessing his absence was why there was a little less potency in the second half. Somebody better step up for sure.
-
I was gonna go there with Sanchez, who he traded up for. But they had good year or two with the Jets
-
His daddy was full of bluster. But that 46 defense...whatever it was called. Great.

Carolina Panthers more than year late paying police

Not crowning, but when it looks like it did, sure looks possible that he is a good hire. Maybe he isn't 'that guy' but he just grabbed that locker room by the nuts - they are all in - after two weeks of his first year. In a tough situation. I like what I see and hear. AFAIC, I don't sweat much as a fan and am generally optimistic, other than this Bryce stuff. That pegged the meter for me. Red alert lol. -
Yeah the lazy part where he didn't watch for himself, he couldn't have watched either game this year and said that. What bothered me, was how vicious he was he was towards Canales and just his tone. Toxic poo.
-
He analyzes offenses as good as these coaches do, and was impressed. I'll take that all day.

Robert Hunt to Panthers fans at home next week

I enjoyed listening to him though. Takes me back. They surely do communicate through the media at times, it's a good tool. Usually to build them up. I hear that all the time. -
It was above and beyond, it is like they abused him as a child or something. Maybe he wanted the coaching job at some point.

" It's only a couple hundred grand, what's the problem?" -

Maybe because it hits him in the face, like it just did. Unless you don't agree that Canales is a good hire.
