Yeah, Colorado vs. Bama wouldn't have been competitve. Colorado vs. BYU gives us the presumed conference championship game that just didn't materialize.

It's crazy. They do this every week. Every week they do just enough to win on the last play of the game as time expires. Never seen anything like it. They've won a decade's worth of walk offs in this season alone.

Man, you're playing KC in KC and you just air mail a wide open deep ball going for the hero in stride throw. Just make the safe throw. Slow him down. Maybe that means he doesn't score but I'll take a 50 yard bomb and 1st down in FG range over punting deep in my own territory.

Higgins has missed a lot of games over the past two seasons and someone is going to pay him for his performances from three and four years ago. I hope it's not us. -
Might happen. I think it's be a big mistake but as always, I'll hope for the best while fully expecting the worst. It's the coping strategy you have to have as a Panthers/Heels fan.

Yeah, if you were high on McCarthy going into the draft last year I could definitely see having him rated above anyone on the board with your pick in this year's draft.

I can't see him wanting an NFL gig without GM authority and I can't see any NFL team wanting him WITH GM authority. He's a phenomenal coach but an awful GM.

This is what I expect them to do. I mean, McCarthy was their backup draft plan anyway that they fell back on once they deemed the price to trade up for Maye to be too high.

I'm happy for him. Seems like a legitimately good dude. Gonna be interesting to see what the Vikings do going forward. Extend Darnold and leave McCarthy on the bench? Trade McCarthy? Sign and trade deal with Darnold? They definitely have options.

Less of a need with the Chiefs having a bit of a cushion for home field now with the Bills losing today. The NFL also very much wants the Chargers in the playoffs

Evidently the Heels has a second meeting with Belichick late last week. Good lord, this might actually happen. Well, at least as a Panthers/Heels fan I am VERY much accustomed to hoping for the best while fully expecting the worst. LOL

Yeah, they got a just do away with it and replace it with something else. I've seen it floated to do like a 4th and 15 or 4th and 10 conversion instead of an inside kick. If I remember correctly the math works out to where 4th and 18 is roughly equal to the old onside kick success rate.
