My grandfather with one of his racecars. This was back in the days when racecars were basically just bootleg runners with a number on the side. poo was real back then. I can still remember Harry Gant randomly stopping by to catch up with grandpa back when I was a kid. My grandmother made him stop racing after my mom was born. Her nerves just couldn't take it. She never saw him race. She'd hide in the restroom. The old timers all say he was the best they ever saw.

This year? They got us a bust of a QB in Sam Darnold who the Jets had given up on and a head case of a CB shove who the Jags had given up on.
-
The only way we should trade for Tua is if we think he's the answer. If the Dolphins trade for Watson, they clearly don't. How's going after guys who other teams have decided weren't the answer been working out for us the past couple of years?
-
Yep. Any mention or possible mention of Howell and here you come. LOL!
-
This is what true obsession looks like. LOL!

Yep. I caught flack for that. Flack for saying Teddy would be trash. Flack for saying Darnold would be trash. Flack for saying these OL signings would be trash. Flack for pointing out that Rhule never beat any actually good teams in college.

Dude had his little hissy fit on the sidelines and he's been the worst WR in football ever since.

Thinking of moving from SoCal to Western Carolina

Morganton really doesn't get much snow. Boone is the coldest place on Earth. I'll take -20 in CO over 30 and windy in Boone. That cold just hits different. -
No they don't. Just put the dots together. We were all in on Sam Darnold because we believed that he would he a competent QB and an upgrade over Teddy. The fact that we've targeted Teddy and Darnold as our QBs of choice tells you everything you need to know about these guys' ability to evaluate NFL QBs and might be why we're all in on a proven commodity in Watson now. We sure as hell don't want these guys identifying another "prospect".

Marion is basically all the negative southern Appalachia stereotypes married together in one place. It's North Carolina's own little West Virginia. Target? You're talking Asheville or Boone. Trader Joe's? Asheville. Though in Morganton you're 20 minutes to a Target in Hickory and we have Food Matters. https://www.foodmattersmarket.com/ I'm under 10 minutes to downtown, can't see it hear my closest neighbors, and have a mountain view off the deck. This was Saturday's sunset. -
Well, Rhule and company said Sam was "basically a rookie". They were right, but not in the "moldable lump of talented clay" way. More like the "damn, this guy looks like he's never played QB in the NFL despite being a 4th year veteran" way.

They haven't needed to do anything because he's content to stay away and the Texans are content to let him. The commissioner's exempt list was pretty much created for situations just like this so that the NFL doesn't have to wait for the legal process to play out before they take action. It's on the CBA. The NFLPA later took it to arbitration and lost. The exempt list is definitely her to stay at least until the next CBA is negotiated.

Boone only averages about 30" of snow a year and it's almost always the here today, gone in 2-3 days type of snow. Except on the roads where patches of black ice linger linger. Do you REALLY want a lot of snow? I love it. We averaged well over 100" where I lived in CO. But back east? East coast snow is high moisture content. That means it's slick as hell and sticks to everything which means broken trees and power outages. The DOT is poorly prepared for snow and so are most of the drivers and vehicles so snow equals a complete poo show on the roads. Snow in CO is one thing. Snow in NC is a poo show. @GOATany questions you have fire away. I grew up here. What are you looking for in a place and I can give you a better idea of where you should (and should not) be looking. Don't fuging move to Marion though, whatever you do. Jesus. Don't move to "mern". -

I moved from the mountains of Colorado to Morganton last year. Cost of living was a HUGE factor in my decision. -
A lot of fans can't look past alma mater.I love seeing us draft Heels when the need and value align (I'm a Panthers fab because of Julius Peppers) but at the end of the day I want us to get the best players regardless of where they went to college. Howell is a baller.
-
But, but, but I've been told by astute Huddlers that Howell is unathletic.

Your worship of the super wealthy is really weird, man.
-
It was Brady's offense and he took over play calling in the redzone.
-
By heading up the mist prolific college offense of all time. Sure, there was a ton of talent on that team but that talent produced a pedestrian offense the year prior. Joe Burrow went from a likely late round flier pick to #1 overall.

If we fire Joe Brady after he was one of the hottest coaching names in football while never giving him an OL or QB to work with, Tepper is REALLY gonna have to open the wallet to attract a decent replacement because anyone with other options will go somewhere else.
