  1. Bucs can't get any pressure. Dak has all day. Just missed on that throw.
  2. The old school coffin corner punt! Damn, what a boot.
  3. I'll just say that if Belichick wins another ring with Jones his GOATness will not be surpassed during my lifetime. His ceiling is Jared Goff/Kirk Cousins.
  4. He's not gonna be. Totally different types of players. If Brown realizes his potential, think prime Kris Jenkins minus the weight issues.
  5. Did PJ learn about having online burner accounts from Teddy? I just can't imagine someone legit being this level of all in on PJ Walker.
  6. Yep. If Darnold doesn't pan out and Fields does, we'll remember this draft for as long as it takes us to find the answer at QB. And all you have to do is look at the Bears to see that sometimes that takes literally decades.
  7. I like guys who just focus on the things that they can control. We all hated Shula and we all knew our OL usually sucked and the WRs were subpar, but Cam never threw any of them under the bus. That's the way it has to be. Ignore the outside noise and just focus on being the best that you can be. That's all you can control.
  8. I expected more from him last year as a run stuffer but even though it didn't show up on the stat sheet, he was better than I expected as a pass rusher. Hoping to see the dominant run stuffer I expected this season and to see some of those pressures converted into a few sacks.
  9. The regular season officially starts today. The tolerance for blatant trolling and poo posting is going to significantly decrease.
  10. Yeah, this was definitely different from anything I've ever had before. It didn't start out like any boil I've ever had. It started out almost like rug burn or something. Just generalized soreness and redness on my thigh but really sore and sore deep. From there almost like blister formed and that became a small open wound. Then the red streaks and groin soreness. When I called my father in law (it's awesome to have a doctor in the immediate family to run things by) he heard my description and had me send him a pic. He called back and said, yeah you need to have that seen. No not an appointment, drive your ass to the local urgent care and be seen TODAY. This isn't an ER visit but it's not far away from one and it will be if you let this go any further. What really concerned him was the streaking and groin soreness. The streaking is localized spread. The groin soreness is the beginning of lymph node involvement. Next comes sepsis and that's hospital stay and a potentially legit touch and go situation. He's an old school doctor. Kind of a "rub some dirt on it" type. He's thorough and covers his bases but he doesn't overreact to stuff. Generally when I call him his response is something along the lines of "keep and eye on it and if it gets worse make an appointment", so when he says get your ass to the doctor and do it now that perks my ears up.
  11. Captains are a locker room thing, not necessarily a compilation of the team's absolute best players. Paradis is a veteran with a lot of starting experience in the league. Not surprising at all that he's seen as a leader in the locker room.
  12. I'm not surprised. Big QB questions on both sides. Jones is a rookie and that's always a big question mark in week one. There's literally no good NFL precedent for what to expect out of him, especially right out of the gates. With Tua, the big question is if he's going to rebound or if that hip injury has just made him a shadow of what he used to be. Last year he looked like a shadow of his former self IMO.
  13. It's true. We usually do our best when there are no expectations and flop spectacularly when we get hyped up.
  14. I long ago became numb to Ron Rivera saying dumb poo. I don't even notice it anymore.
  15. I'm just saying, we're on a three year losing streak and they're the defending Super Bowl Champs. We're not exactly in a great place to be throwing shade.
  16. I definitely missed anything to get mad about.
  17. I think letting him walk was the correct call too, but it's just in really poor taste IMO to make a thread spiking the football about the guy missing week one due to a minor injury. We chose not to re-sign him. It's not like he forced his way out or it was an ugly breakup in any way. The Panthers made a business decision not to re-sign him. Samuel made a business decision to sign a contract to continue playing NFL football elsewhere. That's it, that's all. There's just no legit reason to be salty and this thread is saltier than the Dead Sea.
  18. For the people screaming clickbait, you gotta be honest. If you want good clickbait, you'd target a fanbase a lot bigger than ours or a QB a lot higher profile than Darnold with your bottom ranking. The reality is that the average NFL fan just doesn't care about the Panthers and/or Sam Darnold. We've both been written off as essentially irrelevant until proven otherwise.
  19. @saX man, you were one of those kids who tried smoking banana peels back in the day because you heard it's get you high, weren't you?
  20. We'll see, but based on past precedent there's an argument for that ranking being deserved going into the season.
  21. He got very fortunate that CMC was injured. A lot of the screens/short passes that he was targeted on last year would have typically gone to CMC. He kind of subbed in for CMC's role in the passing game last season.
  22. So why are you getting triggered? If the reply didn't apply to your post then it probably wasn't referencing your post.
  23. Yikes. This is the type of thing that gets fanbases mocked for good reason.
  24. I mean, I get it. God help us all if the Cowboys beat the reigning Super Bowl champs in week one. The media is always desperate to create a cowboys hype train and they'd all over that one.
