  1. There will never be anything close to a resolution in a case like this. It's going to be 98% he said/she said with each side spiking the football over every minute piece of actual factual evidence they can produce to spin in a way as to support their side of the story. It's going to be a mess and that's why we moved on from what was basically our plan A, B, and C. We were all in on Watson.
  2. I felt bad for KB up until he tried to trash Cam and throw him under the bus acting like his QB situation was what was holding him back as a WR. Well, we all saw what happened with his career after he parted ways with Cam. I don't think Cam has ever said a negative word about KB publicly to this day. Just sucked to see the relationship unravel between two guys who seemed very close and it seemed unnecessary and driven by KB's immaturity.
  3. He's been putting up top 10 WR numbers with poor QB play. Some of y'all are still in this mindset that if a guy isn't arguably THE best WR in the NFL, then he's not a #1 WR. The "#1 WR" might be the most mythological beast on this board.
  4. Yep, DJ Moore is easily our most underrated player.
  5. Davis Mills would be the one I'd be most willing to give a shot. I think we may have interest in Kellen Mond because Rhule recruited him hard at Baylor. Personally I'm not high at all on Mond. Intriguing physical talent, but he's wildly inconsistent and doesn't play to his talent level even when he's "on" IMO.
  6. I've been buying and selling on the swings. Sold Friday at +500%. Bought in again yesterday.
  7. Added a new pup to the household today. Little female pittie mix. 8 weeks old. Her mom was chained up outside a trailer and neglected in McDowell County and a neighbor basically stole her to take her to a rescue.
  8. I remember liking him as a draft prospect. Haven't paid any attention since then, but hopefully he'll do well for us.
  9. That bonus money is a sunk cost. Paying him his $17M base salary to be the backup would be by far the most idiotic option available.
  10. At this point I'd be surprised to see him moved prior to the draft. If that was going to happen I think it already would have. Maybe a team that strikes out in the draft will make a move for Teddy or maybe a team that drafts a Kellen Mond/Davis Mills level QB prospect will make a move for Teddy as a stop gap wet nurse. FWIW, I think we might be a team that drafts a Kellen Mond/Davis Mills level QB prospect.
  11. Looked pretty good early, but went downhill fast. Kinda like Teddy.
  12. I agree. Darnold has a lot more upside potential than Teddy but just as importantly IMO is that he has far more massive bust potential too. You know what you're getting with Teddy. Straight up mediocrity. Darnold is far more boom or bust which is a good thing in my mind. Better chance to be the answer and also a better chance to land us a premium draft pick of he's not. Win/win in my book.
  13. He's on the roster now so hopefully he works out. If he doesn't work out I just hope that he bombs HARD. We don't need 5 or 6 wins again. Go big or go home. Be the answer or be our Clausen 2.0. Anything in between would just plain suck.
  14. When we hired him I think everyone already knew that if he was successful he wasn't going to be here long.
  15. On the contrary, I'm really against passing on one of them if he's there at #8.
  16. For now. Now could be this season of for the next two weeks. I'll be surprised if Darnold is the answer long-term.
  17. If Darnold is your ultimate answer then you're probably ultimately gonna get fired. Hopefully he will be, but you can't go all in on Darnold and pass up QB prospects that you otherwise would've taken at #8. Sam Darnold isn't a reason to pass on top 10 QB talent.
  18. I don't think it exists. Sure, people want what's best for the team and hold out hope for Darnold but I think there's very few who truly think he's gonna work out. History doesn't bode well for reclamation projects.
  19. I'll trust the evaluation. Honestly, I'm kinda all in on my avatar. I think Darnold can deliver him.
  20. Yeah, I think there's a decent chance we went to that pro day, watched him, and said "Yeah... this dude ain't gonna be there at #8 so we better figure out something else."
  21. "Value" doesn't indicate how good a prospect will be, just what their perceived worth is at the time. Three years ago, the Jets drafted Darnold #3 overall. That was his perceived worth. After his last three seasons, they were probably glad to have gotten what we gave them for him.
