  1. I don't disagree. The only other decent receiver we had on the roster was Chark and he's just a terrible pairing with Bryce. You don't want a deep threat specialist to pair with one of the weakest arms in the NFL. Square peg, round hole.
  2. It's not Thielen's fault that our other receivers sucked.
  3. If the Bucs are smart they'd tag Baker. Id want to see him put two promising seasons together before sinking major cap space into him.
  4. Focus on guys who can win off the line. You have about a 15 yard window to get open before you're out of Bryce's range.
  5. Hence why I mentioned the Bucs being a below average offense. 18th in scoring, 20th in yardage.
  6. Is he really even a hot shot? The Bucs were a below average offense. But I guess at the end of the day when you have the opportunity to hire the OC who orchestrated a 9-0 three FG barn burner to beat you and secure a playoff berth you just can't pass that up.
  7. What? Baker Mayfield has one of the best arms in the league.
  8. Tampa Bay was 18th in scoring and 20th in yardage. So basically a little below average offensively. I honestly have to wonder... did we just hire the guy that we made a HC candidate because we tanked Baker Mayfield so hard last year? Oh the irony. Because Baker basically just bounced back to roughly his Cleveland level of play this year.
  9. Cool. I hope he does great. Honestly that's about all I have to offer on it. We'll see how it goes.
  10. The UNC system Board of Governors is trying to pass a resolution that would force UNC to bring their shitty little brother NCSU along for the ride if they leave the ACC. https://www.wralsportsfan.com/board-of-govenors-moving-toward-new-policy-that-could-prevent-unc-from-leaving-acc/21251314/
  11. Hopefully he somehow gets it right out of sheer dumb luck but I'm well aware that sheer dumb luck is what we're relying on.
  12. Yeah, I honestly fully expect us to go with an offensive minded head coach. Give Bryce his best chance this year and if it doesn't work out have an offensive mind in place to weigh in on the position and what we should do. Keep going all in on Bryce or move on? You have to get QB right. If we had a proven QB in place and were largely being held back by a floundering D I could absolutely see going with a defensive HC but we have the opposite situation.
  13. How early in the conversation do you think he's gonna ask if he'd be tied to Bryce Young? I mean, Vrabel is coming from a situation where he basically had a roster ready to compete for a championship minus a QB and ultimately got fired because he couldn't overcome that. Now the Titans go with an offensive minded guy to try to give Will Levis the best chance to develop.
  14. Yeah, I honestly think it's impossible. I just don't see the prerequisite talent. Not sure why that question made you so defensive.
  15. Oh, it's quite possible I'd say. I honestly think that the outside interest in these positions might be practically non-existent.
  16. We all thought this guy would be a cao wizard. Maybe he would've worked out if we were actually acquiring adequate talent. I don't know. The whole organization is fuged up and that points to the man ultimately in charge of it all.
  17. I've seen the results of David Tepper's hires so far. It doesn't leave me with any confidence that he'll get it right this time around.
  18. I think Canales has done a good job as OC but one decent year as an OC seems like jumping the gun for a HC job. Then again, well qualified candidates with other options are likely gonna choose another option so we're left to consider the guys who will actually take the job.
  19. Probably a lot. But we can't get any worse than #32 with no 1st round pick. So we either start to get better or we stay at rock bottom.
  20. Not gonna lie, that was not inspiring. Let's see how it goes. I mean, we're already the worst team in the league so we can't get much worse.
  21. He probably just loves the game to be honest. But the Commanders had the worst defense in the NFL both in yardage and points and before anyone talks about them trading their starting DEs, their D was terrible before they did that too. I think the game has just passed Ron by. Hell, it had passed Ron by before we fired him.
  22. And then you never showed me. The one thread you bumped clearly did not have people wishing injury on Bryce. I'm not saying it DIDN'T happen. I'm saying I didn't see it, I don't recall it, and you haven't showed me.
  23. Honestly, Fitts deserves to have a statue in front of the stadium... of the Niners and Bears.
