  1. Yeah, I saw that post about not needing to spend money on a WR and I was like... wait, what?
  2. If I'm a receiver and I have a choice on here or KC and the money is similar... yeah, I'm picking KC all day everyday.
  3. Solid vet TE. I still expect TE to very much be in play at #39. Feels like that pick almost has to be WR or TE unless someone is there that's just shocking to still be available.
  4. We need WR help something bad. I just hope he can stay healthy if we sign him and the contract is structured where we can move on if he doesn't.
  5. No one comes to Carolina to play in the NIT. Especially largely the same group that was playing for a national championship less than a year ago. They're ashamed. And they should be.
  6. Is he going to take his talents to Miami?
  7. This guy has appeared in 32 of a possible 55 games. He finally played in every game this season, but man... he has one helluva injury history. I'd pass unless it really protected us in terms of guaranteed money beyond the first year.
  8. That feels like a lot of money for Perine. We're talking about a guy who has rushed for less than 1000 yards in the last five seasons... combined.
  9. I think they're probably pretty damn sure.
  10. The fanbase is convinced we're taking Stroud and is in the process of falling in love but most of the things that have been said by the staff about what they're looking for in a QB best apply to Bryce Young IMO.
  11. I'm not gonna celebrate just yet. We still have to nail this pick and find some guys for this kid to throw to.
  12. Couldn't afford to release him until we got Bozeman inked.
  13. There's a bunch of folks setting themselves up for a letdown. It's far from a sure thing that Stroud is the pick.
  14. Josh McDaniels clearly didn't learn a damn thing from his debacle in Denver. He's doing the exact same thing in Vegas. He might end up black balled from the league after this. I was living outside of Denver at the time and was going to nearly every home game (company had a suite at Mile High) and tried to tell folks it was every bit as bad as Lane Kiffen in Oakland, the only difference being that the Broncos didn't air out the dirty laundry like crazy ass Al Davis.
  15. Don't confuse media hype with actual NFL evaluations happening. Bryce Young showed up to the Combine to accomplish one thing. Step on a scale over 200 pounds. Show that you're in that Kyler Murray/Russell Wilson size mold, not a complete anomaly.
  16. I hope we draft Richardson. For one, it would tell me that our very experienced coaching staff when it comes to QBs thinks they can mold him into a great NFL QB given his immense talent. But almost as equally, just to sit back and watch the poo show on the Huddle.
  17. This Rodgers in NY thing might end up being even better than the Wilson in Denver poo show.
  18. I just hope the football guys get their choice. Tepper needs to realize he hired these guys to do the job, now GTFO of their way and let them do the job. If they fug it up, fire them. But let them do the job you hired them to do.
  19. No. Not when you consider that Bacot and Washington are injured and weren't going to be available. We basically weren't going to have any bigs available to play outside of Nance. Two players have already entered the transfer portal. It's best to just turn the page and move on and focus on the future. No on at UNC gives a fug about the NIT. Why pretend to? It's not like Hubert was going to actually play the young guys and get them some valuable game experience. If he would I'd say go and take advantage of that. But he won't, so why bother?
  20. Oh c'mon... people are very consistent here. Media talking heads are brilliant when they have an opinion that agrees with theirs and morons when they don't. That's very consistent.
  21. But then Pickett looked decent late. Howell looked good in his lone start. Bailey Zappe looked to translate to the NFL better than anyone expected. Meanwhile, Corral looked like a local HS kid who snuck on to the field with talent that just didn't look like it belonged even against 3rd stringers and practice squader before predictably got hurt as would likely result with a kid trying to play football against grown ass men.
  22. Wouldn't be shocking. But I don't think any of these guys are worth a bidding war. I just hope we're plenty prepared to walk away. Lazard is a mediocre #2 WR and the contract should reflect that.
