TCU had to call a timeout there. They were utterly confused presnap. That's not on that CB. He was gonna be wrong either way. Just a totally busted play from the entire D.
-
No way. I think he's a 2nd or 3rd rounder.
-
Georgia is just moving the ball at will. In chunks. TCU is gonna have to find some answers or UGA is gonna do have to start turning the ball over. Well damn, they definitely can't blow coverages like that.
-
Nice. I'm hoping for a competitive, fun game.
-
Holy blown coverage. UGA DBs have not helped themselves this playoffs.
-
Big for TCU to force a FG here. You definitely don't wanna go down two TDs.
-
Basically a mid-major gimmick defense because it's hard for them to recruit hawgs. I remember when Fedora tried to bring it to UNC. It did not work out well.
-
They were just looking at UGA/OSU. Took beating TCU for granted and it bit 'em.
-
I don't think he's much of an NFL prospect but that kid has had one helluva season in college football.
-
Oh no. Fumble. Georgia ball.
-
This might get ugly fast. I think Michigan got caught looking past TCU.
-
That dude can PLAY. From what I can tell he's projected as a mid-rounder. I hope he's all over our radar.

Gimme a QB early this year and Bowers in the (hopefully late) 1st next year and I'm cool with that.
-
Difference on the first drives was Bennett calm, cool, and collected while Duggan had some obvious big game nerves.
-
We seems to be on the same wavelength tonight.
-
It's not a college football thread until this guy shows up complaining.
-
This Bowers kid will be an NFL starting TE.
-
Duggan better settle down. Two attempts, two open receivers, two incomplete passes on misfires.
-
I hope TCU can keep it interesting but I expect UGA to roll.
-
I don't care about the process. Just get me a great coach. If you fail I will mock you and your process in retrospect.

Teddy played six games in N.O. He had his best sustained play here. Go ahead and trade DJ but I'll tell you how it ends. It ends in howling and crying about how our new franchise QB has nothing but trash to throw to and we're stunting his development. And the howling and crying would be correct, but a lot of the same folks doing the crying and howling would be the same folks who thought DJ was a JAG and easily replaced. He's not. Fans of this fanbase should more than realize that good receivers don't just grow on trees. We've had very few of them.

Scott Fowler Observer column on coaching hire
LinvilleGorge replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah, that's my point. Fowler's entire argument revolved around emotion and doing what feels like it's the right thing to do based on his opinion that Wilks can prove to be the guy not that he HAS proven to be the guy. It also wouldn't surprise me if he has a pretty good relationship with Wilks and doesn't want to lose that connection with the HC of the team he covers. -

Wilks seems like a good guy and is a local guy. That was Fowler's whole argument.
