I worked for a boss like that once. He was actually a pretty good guy and not a bad boss but he didn't let anyone resign. If you put in your notice he'd terminate you. It was weird but whatever. Personal attacks are one of the specific rules. We heavily rely on post reports for moderation. We aren't reading every post or even close to it. The vast majority of actions we take are based on posts reported by users. So don't complain about lack of action unless you're reporting the offending posts.

What is "undersized" about 270? Peppers was a freak of a prototype. A Cam Newton of DEs. If that's your benchmark for size and athleticism very few will measure up.

Gotta be able to do both but most defenses are predominantly even or odd front. Same with coverage schemes. We all talk about zone schemes versus man schemes but every NFL team does both, they're just predominantly one or the other.

Agreed. It's why I have no idea how to evaluate defenders on the draft. I have no idea what scheme we might be running. Do we need 4-3 DEs or 3-4 OLBs? Do we need single gap DTs or two gap DTs? Do we need man corners or zone corners? The bad thing about having such a depleted roster is that you suck. But the good thing is that you're very scheme versatile because you need so many new faces that you can go pretty much any direction. Brown is definitely scheme versatile. Horn would be better suited to a man cover dominant scheme. Those are the only two I would be concerned with on terms of scheme moving forward.

I bet the opposite. They're sitting at 8-8 and still sitting at #2 on the playoff bubble. They went 1-3 in the games Tua missed. Just one more win and they'd be tied with the Broncos at 9-7, not sure who would hold the tie breaker between them but just one more W would be huge for them right now. Not sure what we were wanting versus what they were offering but if they'd had a crystal ball and knew they'd be right at the threshold of qualifying for the playoffs going into the final week of the season I'm sure that would've changed their calculus.

I hate the NFL for forcing JR out prior to Snyder. I mean, you can literally moderate the site for yourself! It's incredible! I encourage anyone who thinks there are trolls to utilize this wonderful feature for themselves and cultivate their own personalized version of the Huddle instead of just bitching and moaning for the mods to please save them from harmful differing opinions.

Too many people view any view opposed to their own as "trolling". Like really? People are so fragile that encountering a differing opinion automatically means the person isn't serious?
