That's the type of impact you're looking for taking a DT in the top 10. Some would call Star disappointing but at least he was dominant against the run. Brown has just been... well, just kinda there. He hasn't really stood out in any particular way. If he was a 3rd rounder we'd be happy but he was a top 10 pick.

Cam was pretty damn good today for a QB with about 10 days with the playbook. I thought most of Brady's situational play calling issues were probably due to limitations at QB but now I'm starting to come around to the idea that he just sucks at situational play calling. We lost this game on D though. WFT did whatever they wanted and dominated the TOP. 190 rushing yards allowed and a 73% completion percentage. Yikes. You're going to win very few games when you allow that type of offensive efficiency.

I LOVED the Brown pick but man, not gonna lie he's been underwhelming. Not the impact player I was expecting. You don't want a "good" DT in the top 10. You want a game wrecker. We haven't seen that from Brown.

Evidently it's talking billionaires out of millions.
-
Yep. If you want to try to run to borders against us, best of luck. We have the speed to feast on that. But if you line up heavy and keep it between the tackles... uh oh.
-
We can't stop the power run. That's glaring.
-
Honestly, Fitts can GTFO too. Go hire a guy you trust to he a real GM, not just a paper pusher for a college coach calling the shots.
-
Thank you. Seriously.

We have a glaring weakness that we evidently can't fix. Not sure this ranking is going to hold. Especially if the offense can continue to be a threat forcing teams to actually try to score and not just play it safe knowing Darnold can't beat them.

When you've spent virtually all of your resources for two straight years on one side of the ball it better be pretty damn close to a finished product.
-
Honestly, even worse... I think he let the booing of the fans as the punter was trotting out change his mind. I think the change of mind was the right call but had the boos not rained down I honestly think they would've gone through with the punt. I just think Rhule and company are in over their heads. Seeing them out-coached by Ron Rivera cemented that for me.
-
Yep. He's played well this season, but we should've considered pulling him at halftime. It was pretty clear that when they were throwing the ball that their first read was whoever Dante was covering. Kinda telling since Ron coached D-Jax.
-
He's not a bad QB, he's just physically fragile. Our D just got plain handled today and it started with us not being able to stop the run. When you can't stop the run all of a sudden everything else gets a lot harder too. They got everything they wanted running off tackle to the left all game long.
-
Bingo. They put together long drive after long drive all game long.
-
Hindsight is always 20/20 but I firmly believe had we punted that ball we wouldn't have seen it again. They would've ran out the clock on us... and you'd be saying how punting it was the wrong call.

I disagree. Our D hadn't stopped poo all day. I agree with that call.

Barring a dramatic turnaround we need to move on this off-season. The college coaching staff hasn't panned out.

86 million dollars, and a 2nd and 4th round pick...

They really weren't. We've just revamped our offensive approach. We're playing "lean on your D" offense. Can't win like that when your D plays like ours did today. -

This OL was getting plenty of heat when Sam was out there. You're being quite selective. -
Woof. Quite possibly the worst division in football.

I'm done with him and them. I'm ready to move on from this staff after this season barring a dramatic turnaround. -
Too many problems to find one solution

They were terrible. They weren't scapegoated, we just moved on from terrible players. -

Darnold was terrible. Just let it go. Unfortunately, so is this staff. -
He's had a good season but he was a liability today
-
Yep. I was wavering on Rhule but now I'm completely off the wagon. He's gotta go. This is a college staff in the NFL and it's blatantly obvious watching them get taken to school by Ron fugin' Rivera. Fire Matt Rhule
