    I honestly think there's a decent chance Darnold has made his last active roster. He's truly awful.

    PJ would be cheap and he's better than Darnold. I've never been a fan of factoring sunk costs into decision making processes.

    I honestly had no clue their were people left willing to beclown themselves in an attempt to defend and stump for Sam Darnold. I mean, even the couple of Sam fanboys who followed him here have fully thrown in the towel on him at this point. These are folks that have followed him since his college days. That should tell you everything.

    Sunk cost. If he's not worth a roster spot (he's not) just let him walk. The cost is the same either way. No need to waste a roster spot.

    It's just the same thing we saw with Teddy last year. You can't really judge a QB until opposing DCs get some film to study on him in that system with that supporting cast. That's when the truth comes out. The truth with Teddy was predictably very mediocre. The truth with Darnold was predictably disastrous. Why we were expecting something else is what concerns me.

    He's still on the roster. The tiny possibility of being able to trade him for something, anything still technically exists. The smart thing to do is talk positively about him. Sam Darnold is done in Carolina though and I don't think we're fooling anyone but we still gotta try.

    Re-sign Dante. Unless Gilmore wants to sign a very team friendly deal let him walk and take the comp pick. I don't consider that out of the question. He seems really happy to be here. Consider bringing Bouye back if he's cheap. Otherwise, I'm very comfortable with our guys.

    I sincerely hope this is one of those times where Rhule is just straight up saying bullshit. I mean, that's most of the time to be honest. Sure seems like whatever he says you can expect him to actually do the opposite.

    You have no issues with him other than posting very recently that he "sucks now" is "washed up" and his "arm is shot". But other than that you have no issues with him.

    I love the "I'm happy that Cam is back, but... *throws shade*" crowd. And when I say I love them, what I actually mean is that they can fug directly off and feel free to root for the team formerly known as the Redskins on Sunday and henceforth from now on.

    Calling him a solid backup at this point is a stretch IMO. I won't be surprised if Darnold has made his last NFL active roster.

    I always liked Ron the man. It was time to move on from Ron the coach, but if I ever met him I'd shake his hand and tell him thanks and wish him all the best and mean it.
