  1. All I'm saying is that it seems very clear that we're moving on from Teddy this off-season. If we're not, then yeah we should really stop throwing shade at him publicly.
  2. I don't doubt it a bit. If Jared Goff can go #1 overall, Mac Jones can absolutely go in the 1st. Just in terms of pure physical tools, I don't think there's much of a gap if any between them.
  3. I agree with you they're good prospects. You always mischaracterize others' disagreements and play this victim crap while downplaying the absurdity of your original claim by acting like you were simply indicating that you think a guy is going to be good. My only disagreement is that their floor is obviously not that of a legit NFL MVP candidate.
  4. Just a general observation my man. Every time you encounter the slightest pushback on one of your opinions this is how it plays out.
  5. LOL! Says the guy who constantly acts like the slightest disagreement with any opinion he has no matter how absurd is an all out assault him as a person. Calm down indeed.
  6. You can think a guy is going to be good without making the absurd claim that his floor is great. Forget Allen, if we thought their floor was Baker, I don't think we would've been (and hell, maybe still are) hell-bent on trading for Watson. We would've been hell-bent on trading up in the draft from the get go.
  7. Reality bias. They were young QBs in the process of developing. They are what they are. And I think you may be misremembering on Baker, the guy practically swept the NFL rookie awards. But when you toss out a name as a prospect's floor, most people are going to interpret that as the current perception of that player. If Josh Allen is these guys' floor, it's hard to imagine a trade that wouldn't be worth it for us. You're basically saying that legit MVP candidate is their floor and honestly that's absurd.
  8. Honestly, I don't and it has everything to do with the money. He's paid millions. He didn't perform. We haven't sugar coated that. The organization didn't really start airing their disappointment until after Teddy threw the staff under the bus for "not getting the play call in on time" when he missed a wide open DJ in the endzone. There seemed to be a clear shift toward "fug this guy" in regards to Teddy from the organization after that and honestly it's tough to blame them.
  9. Cam was a GREAT deep ball thrower in his prime though. Yeah, he always had a pass or two every game that wildly got away from him, but I think those couple of wild pitches make people overstate his accuracy "issues". When he missed, he MISSED but the overall number of misses gets exaggerated due to the obviousness of the misses IMO.
  10. It's a wrap for Teddy when you have a guy who works for the organization pretty much openly calling you a disappointment on the field.
  11. Yikes. Not a good look for Lance. I'm intrigued by his talent, but I gotta admit that the guy screams bust.
  12. I can definitely see them both being very good NFL QBs but I've seen enough good prospects bust that I'm never gonna call a prospect's floor that high.
  13. Let's not kid ourselves, their floors are a lot lower than that and I like them both
  14. I want no part of Mac Jones, but unless he's a total dickhead that's pretty fuging shitty on their part IMO.
  15. We know all we need to know based on Senior Bowl week practices. There's PLENTY of other Bama prospects that need scouting.
  16. Put NFL DBs on the field and it'll look shockingly (and disappointingly) similar.
  17. He was in college at the same time I was. Kentucky football was must watch TV. That dude would have defenders hanging off him like he was a human jungle gym and still be chucking the ball down the field. He was WAY faster than he had any right to be at that size too.
  18. 55 yards in the air and he had to wind up with all he had to manage that while the WR had to practically stop to wait for it. Yeah, that's pretty much what I saw from him this year in games.
  19. They're not giving him big money if they weren't willing to toss the Steelers anything for him at $8?25M. I mean, even a conditional late rounder next year is better than nothing.
  20. If no one was willing to trade anything for a starting CB due to make "only" $8.25M, he ain't getting big money.
  21. Seems like we did this a lot under Gettleman. It worked really well early on. Considerably less well later in his tenure.
  22. I mean, I do remember that time recently when we signed a "coveted" FA QB to a 3 year/$63M contract and signed a WR to a 2 year/$20 contract. I don't think we've even come close to that expenditure thus far this off-season.
