  1. Yeah, I really hope we don't end up with another NFL MVP... said no fuging sane person ever.
  2. There are literally zero teams who would choose quality LT > quality QB unless they've already checked the "quality QB" box.
  3. You know a debate isn't going well when you revert to stuff like this.
  4. My point is that putting up big stats on college doesn't necessarily translate to NFL success.
  5. Yep, throwing the ball away on virtually every down would've definitely been a better option. Brady would've left the field on a meat wagon if he was playing for KC.
  6. The guy was running for his life every play because KC ran out of healthy OL. If he hadn't been running for his life he would've been getting sacked.
  7. Yep. I honestly look at anything we receive in return as a pure bonus.
  8. I was also referring to Fitterer's contract, which could very well become an issue if we have success going forward and a team wants to hire him away from us. Per my understanding, we can't block him from interviewing for other GM roles if they're offering full roster control and we aren't.
  9. Wow. I have no clue how that happens. There's a lot of fail going on there and none of it is on you. Hell, it may not even be on your buyers. There's a lot of people getting paid in a real estate deal and they're getting paid to avoid bullshit like this happening.
  10. I'm the last person on this board to turn things racial, it's just every post you're making is dripping with barely veiled racism.
  11. Hell, a lot of very successful NFL QBs don't always do things by the book. Mahomes is a perfect example. He does a LOT of stuff that would result in a lot of interceptions if he was less talented. QB coaches probably hate their pupils watching Patrick Mahomes. It's virtually guaranteed that they can't get away with a lot of the things he does.
  12. You sure are doing a lot of dog whistling here singling out all black QBs while begging for white ones...
  13. Yep, absolutely. For the record, I've been driving the Zach Wilson bandwagon since back in October. I'm just not blind to the reality that there are question marks.
  14. Kinda makes you wonder how Mahomes would've worked out if he had to start from day one. Sitting and learning behind Alex Smith may have done him a lot of good.
  15. College stats don't always translate well to the NFL. Don't believe me, just look at the all-time leaders for college passing stats. It's absolutely littered with guys who did nothing in the NFL.
  16. The top three all-time college passing TD record holders are Case Keenum, Kellen Moore, and Graham Harrell.
  17. It's really not hard to figure out. It's like a bold coaching call. When it works you're brilliant. When it doesn't you're a reckless idiot. With Mahomes it has REALLY worked.
  18. Anytime a guy faced subpar competition in college there's always a question mark in terms of how he'll translate based on that alone.
  19. Sounds like Rhule has roster control per the contracts. “I think in terms of on the contract, a lot of those things probably rest with me,” Rhule said, via Darin Gantt of Panthers.com. “But that’s not something I’m real interested in. I think it’s kind of a formality. Scott’s here to run the personnel. He’s here to build the roster. He’s here to establish the draft process. I think some things are written into the contract, but I think we’re going to work collaboratively and work together.”
  20. I'm not opposed to it, but it's pretty much a last resort type option for me.
  21. Works for me. I'd just be surprised if anyone is willing to give up a 3rd for Teddy and take on his current contract rather than just waiting for him to be cut or waiting on us to lower our asking price.
  22. Kinda like how guys like Mond and Mills are currently being discussed? I mean, once you get past the top few QBs you're always grasping at straws hoping to get lucky. That's just reality.
  23. I honestly don't care where we send him or for what. I just want him gone. It's just my opinion based on nothing more than interview comments, but it seemed like the relationship between Teddy and our staff took a sharp turn south (understandably) after he made those comments blaming the paly call for coming in late after he missed DJ wide open in the endzone.
  24. Evidently Burrow is banging the table for Chase too. Can't discount that. I absolutely think they'll use their 1st rounder to build around Burrow. Very possible they stick with their current OTs and then focus on their IOL later in the draft.
