Well, it was a good game on paper but in the field it's been a typical TNF game. Pretty much a snooze fest in the 1st half. Maybe it'll pick up after halftime. 7-3 Commanders at half.

Amazon video works fine except for live streams. Their live streams SUCK. I really thought they'd get it figured out but it's been the same shitty service from the get go. I can't tell it's improved at all.

I'm happy for them that they were able to get the fug out of here.

Yeah, I end up watching most of the TNF games on illegal streams because they're better quality than the Amazon streams.

Amazon's live streaming service blows. I have Amazon Prime and I've switched over to an illegal stream because the video quality is better. LOL

He did. Somehow he's still more relevant in the sports world after his playing career ended than the Panthers are currently. LOL

You really weren't right about the reasons why his career was shortened though It wasn't from the running and it wasn't from being unable to effectively run anymore from the wear and tear like happens to RB. It was a fluke injury to his throwing shoulder because of an INT caused by his #1 WR quitting on a route. Then what was left of his shoulder got destroyed by a hit suffered from passing as a pocket QB behind a shoddy OL. If anything, it proved the "Cam is going to have a short career because his running will cause him to age like a RB" wrong. Cam's career wasn't shortened because his running ability declined. It was shortened because he lost his ability to effectively throw the ball. His running was secondary to his passing all along and it took losing his throwing ability to demonstrate that. Cam very well could've adapted to not being able to run as well as he aged. He proved to be a much more efficient passer (68% completion rate) in Norv's offense than mose thought he could be. But he couldn't adapt to no longer being able to throw the ball effectively down the field.

We'll stop complaining about the massive mistake we made with Bryce overlooking his obvious lack of physical talent when we start fielding a competitive football team again. Until then... well, it sucks to suck. But really there's plenty of other talk. Bragging about our revamped OL. Hope with our young WRs. Chuba is balling out, etc. You're just finding what you want to find. Meanwhile, five posts in and you're already going political on the football forum. I know where this is headed. Enjoy Discord.

Honestly, probably so. Tepper probably feels like he can't remind fans that we had one helluva stud QB right before he came in and assured us that our days of mediocrity were over. Yeah, Cam's shoulder was already shot at the time but most of us (myself included) weren't ready to accept that. Shitty timing on his part. But the way Cam was just unceremoniously ousted and we've been through a revolving door of QB trash ever since and the line bright spot of the Tepper era was the Cam comeback game... yeah, Tepper probably feels the need to keep Cam at arm's length right now but if I was him I'd at least be man enough to reach out to him and have that conversation.

Gonna be honest with you here... the destruction of the Panthers feels pretty damn close to 100% David Tepper's fault.

Sure he does. It's like Tepper is mad at Cam because he hasn't been able to turn the page and find success on the field after Cam. He really thought he was just going to come in and put his stamp all over the organization and dominate the league and everyone would just forget about the guy that Panthersdom revolved around prior. Well... how's that workin' out for ya big dog?

Projecting talent to the next level is always dicey, even more so at QB. And now with the rookie wage scale we're seeing more highly drafted QBs because the downside is so much lower. You're no longer having to pay top picks like future HOFs so go ahead and swing big. The risk/reward structure favors the bold move. Just don't trade a poo ton of draft capital to draft a guy with none of the physical traits.

Imagine posting on a forum to mock people for posting on a forum. Whether you realize it or not you just played yourself. LOL Guess what? We've heard people like you lecture people with opinions about how *insert former Panthers front office or coach moron* knows best and we're all just idiots. This forum exists to discuss Panthers football and that includes *GASP* sharing opinions that may be contrary to what the Panthers end up doing. If you just want a circle jerk of an echo chamber reassuring you that everything the Panthers do is brilliant despite the abysmal record on the field, I think they made a Discord group for that.

As a backup? Bryce. As a starter? Gun.

He's not throwing many turnover worthy balls now. That in and of itself is a big improvement. He's also showing more ability to fit balls into coverage within twenty yards of the LOS. He's definitely improved he just doesn't have the physical talent to be a starter. I'm honestly not sure he has much higher ceiling than what he's currently showing.

Yep, I have no problem with people say that he has improved. It's just this attempted narrative that he's "turned the corner" and is looking like a legit starter that blows my mind. He has improved from someone who looked like he didn't belong on an NFL roster to looking like a guy who might be able to carve out a career as a backup. He's doing a good job of doing what he can on an NFL field it's just that his physical limitations are very obvious. I don't blame Bryce for that. Those limitations were obvious on his college tape too. Just like Caleb William's flaws were - he holds the ball forever, takes a lot of bad sacks, and he's a diva. It was all there to be seen.

Stop lying to yourself. For the record, that looks like 3/11 with 3 INTs on attempts 20+ yards. He has literally thrown as many balls to the opponent as he has his own team when throwing 20+ yards. 1 attempt 30+ yards. If you meant only since he came back from his benching, he's 2/5 with an INT when throwing over 20 yards. He threw one ball over 20 yards last week and to his credit he completed it. It was 21 yards. The guy is not throwing the ball down the field.

The comfort I take from this is that we've definitely turned the page on Bryce Young. Good.

Tepper strikes me as the type that the more people ask for something and the louder they get the less likely he is to do it.

The players weren't but from a play calling perspective what they were doing just made no damn sense at all. Could the staff just be that dumb? Yeah, absolutely.
