Yeah, we drafted a QB with a very subpar arm #1 overall. It is what it is. QBs that are probably 5'9" and a buck seventy soaking wet don't get drafted at all... until we took one #1 overall. The concern of a weak arm and a deep out isn't an under throw. It's lack of velocity to drive the ball in there. A weak arm on a deep out is probably a pick six. Bryce usually sails those throws because he knows he can't drive it in there. This really shouldn't need explaining to a decently knowledgeable football fan.

The problem with paying Burns is that he wants $30M a year. That's ELITE $$$. Now go look at the pressure numbers of elite pass rushers. Micah Parsons was over 100.

I mean, Brock Purdy is a physically limited NFL QB. And Bryce Young makes Brock Purdy look like John Elway in comparison.

His arm is very subpar. He definitely cannot make all the throws. There are a lot of small window throws, deep outs, etc. that the big armed guys can make that just aren't in Bryce's wheelhouse at the NFL level. Yeah, the overall offense was trash this year. The OL was bad, the receivers were bad... and Bryce was bad. The one game where we had a viable vertical passing threat was the one game Bryce didn't play. Hate to say it but that's probably not a coincidence.

You can judge the physical traits.

Hire a new OL coach and let him figure it out.

It's just undeniable at this point. The guy consistently plays poorly in the playoffs. I honestly think it's completely in his head at this point. That triple coverage INT was just so bad. That's the type of throw you make on the last play of the game when you're trailing. Just an absolute desperation throw and there was no need for it.

It seemed like he really worked at it at first to make sure he succeeded then got lazy and started mailing it in once he developed a good rep.

For a few games if he's terrible. But honestly the announcers are just there to fill air time. Who is actually tuning in every week for the announcing. It'll give them a ratings boost for a few weeks and then it's just the norm.

What could we reasonably expect to get? We're probably better off just hoping against hope he can stay healthy.

And a LOT better than the Chiefs' who is the most penalized OL in the league. Dude requires a headstart and a borderline illegal formation alignment just to have a fighting chance not to get boat raced.

I honestly have no idea how people could watch the 16 games that Bryce put on film in the NFL and still talk about his talent and potential. All he honestly showed is that he has a LOT of limitations he's going to have to overcome in order to be successful.

Oh, I see it for what it is. It's an absolute commercial spectacle. I'm a football junkie. I watch for the game. Commercials are beer breaks and halftime is dinner time. I'm just watching the game not the spectacle.

Moron would start for a decent amount of teams. A lot more than Bryce would start for.

This. Nobody would be crying about that trade if we'd actually made something of the assets. But essentially giving away CMC for nothing stings.

PTI and the avalanche of idiots screaming hot takes at each other shows started during my college years. Then there were just more and more and more. With dumber and hotter poo takes from people just so obviously desperate for attention. I don't get why anyone watches that stuff. It's like the male version of TMZ. The Lions must've been eating chicken wings and greasy fries at halftime with not a sink in sight because they couldn't catch a damn thing in the second half. Receivers and DBs alike. Going for it on 4th instead of kicking the FG to go up 17 was dumb but it shouldn't have caused the wheels to fall off. But that dropped pass absolutely caused the wheels to fall off. It set off an absolute avalanche of hilariously bad blunders.

Anyone that listens to the talking heads deserves what they get.

I should honestly start. I really don't mind Purdy. The slobbering just gets ridiculous. He throws a two yard pass to CMC or Samuel who breaks 7 tackles bouncing off defenders for 20 yards and they rave about Brock Purdy. Like WTF? Are we watching the same play??? LOL!

50% on him, 50% on the players for fuging up repeatedly. He made some dumb calls but they dropped a bunch of balls and missed a bunch of tackles. They could've saved him.
