    Same reason we traded CMC. When you suck a huge money RB is more of a liability than an asset but I'm still shocked they traded him within the division. That never seemed smart.

    Well, that's game. The Rams D played decent against the run for the most part but gave up a handful of huge gainers. Can't win when you're turning it over and giving up chunk plays on D.

    Good grief. The Rams just absolutely cannot hang onto the football right now. The whole damn team is fumbling and/or dropping passes.

    Exactly. A lot of these teams are handicapping themselves tying up way too much cap space into QBs that aren't good enough to justify it. You're better off building up a better roster around a guy on a rookie deal.

    QB contracts are getting so crazy that honestly I'm of the opinion that if he's not legit MVP caliber you're better off letting him walk and drafting one. When you pay decent starters huge money you have to make the type of roster decisions that you can't afford to make unless it's for an MVP caliber player.

    It's really hard to win a football game -5 in the turnover margin. It's virtually impossible to beat a playoff team with a -5 turnover margin.

    I honestly don't buy the "fit" arguments. Good coaches find ways to use good players. Tailor your "system" to fit your players. Any semi-competent coach looks good if he has all the right pieces.
