  1. Ultimately, I'll still be surprised if he goes back but I guess I wouldn't be shocked.
  2. Yeah, quite a bit of this stuff had always happened behind the scenes but now it can all happen out in the open.
  3. Yeah, it's a huge risk. But I don't see the same situation for Stroud. He isn't a head case like Rattler and he isn't losing all of his supporting weapons like Howell. Howell's situation was honestly just a failure of NFL talent evaluators. I have no idea how they could watch him in his final season and think any less of him. You'd already seen him operate almost exclusively as a passer for two years. All that third year showed is that holy poo this guy can really run too, we didn't know that. If Stroud comes back, I think injury is by far and away the biggest risk he's taking. I'm just he could get OSU boosters to pickup the tab on that insurance policy.
  4. Even if they can win tonight the Bengals are in trouble going forward if they can't get some OL back because this mash unit looks awful.
  5. Ron gonna Ron. Had he gone to Howell a few weeks earlier the Commanders might be in the playoffs.
  6. Went for the hero play. Came up a zero.
  7. My man got that poo swatted like a basketball player being denied at the rim.
  8. Oh my. Ravens went from knocking on the door to a DL going 99.9 yards for a score the other way.
  9. Hurst just got the ball straight up stolen from him. Damn, what a bust that guy has been. Ravens are like, "Yep, that's why that dude isn't here anymore."
  10. I doubt that. Cincy is gonna roll.
  11. Go ahead and hire him. Dare me. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/commanders-informing-potential-offensive-coordinator-candidates-sam-howell-is-their-starting-qb-for-2023/
  12. It's not hard to believe. I mean, we watched that fiasco happen in the very season where that was supposed to be THE officiating priority. I've never seen a team so blatantly target an opposing players head. Von Miller and company were coming at Cam like they were dolphins going after a beach ball. Not even acting like they were attempting a normal football play tackle. Just straight up trying to spear him in the head. No flags.
  13. That was probably in SB50 after Cam took the 37th unflagged hit to the head.
  14. You gotta have a check down. You're just expecting that your QB won't throw it unless he's wide ass open.
  15. That's the criticism of Cousins and what other players have said about him. More concerned about his stat line than he is the outcome of the game. You cannot throw that ball there with the defender right there for the tackle. You gotta take the risk to throw it past the sticks.
  16. Oh good grief. WTF was THAT flag?
  17. Big drop. Giants coaches schemed up another one. Daboll and company are the real deal.
  18. For a late round pick, sure. Anything over a 5th and count me out.
  19. Are you actually watching the game? Jones is throwing to wide ass open dudes. Cousins is making the far tougher plays. Give the Giants coaches their due. These dudes are drawing it up.
  20. I think people just say overrated because they don't know what else to say. I rarely see Cousins mentioned as a top 10 QB and I've never seen him mentioned as a top 5 guy. He is what he is - a borderline top 10 type guy. I don't think he's that talented but he's done a good job of maximizing the talent he has.
  21. Cousins is a good QB. He's not elite but he's good. Jones is on that good backup/marginal starter category.
  22. He's actually playing really well. Their D on the other hand... I mean, these Giants receivers can't be anymore open.
  23. If you can't hit these layups you can't play in the NFL.
