I could probably find this same article in each of the past seven years when we were desperately sifting through the rubble looking for a glimmer of hope. Long story short, I'll believe the Panthers are heading in the right direction when we actually start winning some meaningful regular season games. I'd be willing to bet that half the wins in the Tepper era have probably come when we're mathematically eliminated from the playoffs or virtually eliminated like needing to win out and everyone else needing to lose out.

We've looked like refried horse poo in preseason for seven consecutive years and then proceeded to look like refried horse poo in seven consecutive regular seasons and Cam Newton ain't walking through that door to save us. If you're a good organization that consistently puts a competitive team on the field, I get this mindset. But what we saw last night was just business as usual for the Panthers in the Tepper era. And that's precisely the concern.

The final score is meaningless. Looking inept isn't.

That one drive was nice. Everything else was rougher than a South Carolina highway.

Losers: The same folks who have been losing every since David Tepper bought the team and told us that the days of mediocrity were over - the Panthers' fans. Now we remember those days of mediocrity as the good old days.

The Magic 8 ball says another season of talking draft before Halloween is highly likely. Just no way to sugarcoat it, we looked like poo outside of the TD drive.

The TD drive was really nice. That was pretty much it. We made Shedeur Sanders look like an All-Pro. LOL

Father Time has caught Dalton for sure.

Opposing teams treated Theilen like he was our #1. Because he was.

That and he was our second best receiver last year. He did way more with his snaps than XL did. If this continues, they need to switch spots. I don't care that XL was a 1st rounder and Coker was a UDFA.

Based on the first two punt returns I'll take it. We had a falling down catch on what should've been a decent return attempt and a muff for a turnover.

He's pretty much a lock as the #3 RB but he maybe out of the running at PR. That was sorry as hell.

That play will have Browns fans ready to crown Shedeur.

Shedeur has had a couple nice plays but has largely looked like a guy who is fighting for a roster spot.
