Who was talking sh¡t about Ickey in reference to Neal?
Jon Snow replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Those criticizing Ikem obviously wasn't around to watch Gross's first season, or even his second. -
A really bad version of whatever they are trying to adopt? Brother, I have no f*cking clue.

We don't know who the starter is going to be. You can't assume whomever we draft starts right away. It's still an open competition for starter in Carolina until one emerges. We are still looking for a starter because Baker ain't it.
-
It's not wasting a pick to take a qb unless it's Rhule choosing said qb. We will have only one qb on contract and he has played all of one quarter of preseason football at this level. We need all the qbs we can get.

I cannot truly judge Corral for his potential because he was never given the support he needed to showcase what he is capable of. Whether he's a diamond or a lump of coal is undetermined on this team.

Should Shenault get more playing time?
Jon Snow replied to YourLastThought's topic in Carolina Panthers
Stubborn or just plain incompetent. He's predictable and unimaginative. He's still running a basic offense as if it were preseason. -

He can take Ian's and Chuba's snaps. Hell he can take some snaps from just about any pass catcher as not a single one of them are a must have on every play. -
We are doing our best to surpass them in that department.

Snow saved Rhule's ass for another game plain and simple. I have a sneaky suspicion that could be why Rhule takes him wherever he goes. But they will not be able to keep that approach up for the rest of the season. The only reason the team came alive was because of the defense. That turnover and defensive touchdown changed the flow of the entire game. The blitzing sealed it.

When the can sit through 3 hours of misery.

Without looking I would say McAdoo sets the lineup on offense. That would include the oline. But I have a sneaky suspension Rhule has a heavy hand in it. Campen would get the oline players in shape and well versed in their responsibilities. He would have a say on what the lineup should be and most likely is at the moment. But the offensive performance is solely the responsibility of the OC and he sets the lineup he goes to war with. Having said that I'm not sure how it works in Rhules world.

Just a friendly reminder about today's victory...

You would think a guy that's been in the league as long as McAdoo that he could come up with something that resembles an nfl offense. I suppose it is becoming painfully obvious why he had such a hard time finding work. -

Well its not looking good so far. The way they are playing you cannot contribute to 1st year unfamiliarity as both Baker and McAdoo are veterans of the league. There's no excuse for them looking like amateurs out there. -
Give me some hope. Can this offense be turned around?
Jon Snow replied to Khaki Lackey's topic in Carolina Panthers
Do us all a favor and just put him on ignore. -
On a positive note at least we’re not the worst

They've already played worse. The only thing missing is the ints. I don't doubt they could look better with improved qb play. But bad qb play mixed with horrible OC play calling? I just can't see it. -
Where the CMC choice routes that made Darnold look good?
Jon Snow replied to restNChrist's topic in Carolina Panthers
McAdoo's offense ran by Baker Mayfield. That's all you need to know. -
The last time I watched a pro bowl was when Jake broke the QB skills competition records. That's been awhile.

Exactly. But you can't bring that up right now because they finally won a home game in over a year. -

It's funny that a statically worse team has a better record than the Panthers. Just goes to show that stats don't tell the whole story. -

They have a better shot a beating us this year but as you know you can't predict these things. Early season games are hard to predict. Until every team hits their so called strid (whether good or bad) it's still early. But with the way our offense is playing it's hard for me to imagine them playing much better than what we saw yesterday. The defense is going to have to carry this team that's all there is to it.
