The late first round buzz was bs. That's what's wrong with them. They were overrated by draft nerds that don't know squat.

I hate to admit it but he's right about that part of the game. The part that he sucks at is building an offense that can score more than 2 TD's.

McCall Should’ve Gotten a Jersey on Sunday
Jon Snow replied to Move the Panthers to Raleigh's topic in Carolina Panthers
Put his big ass beside Brown is the best thing to do. Both of them together should add up to a lot beef clogging up the middle. I would hate to just use only one or the other honestly. -
Can they? Sure, anything could happen. The better question is will they?

It's a nice thought and we sure could've used his big ass in there, but unless it's just for him to line up and push the guy in front him into the qb I doubt he knows more than that at this point into it the season. His was a 4th stringer in camp for heaven sake. -
This was a team failure. That lies squarely on the coaches. When everyone looks like crap it's a coaching problem.

We are tied for 8th best record in the NFC.

That not sarcasm that's salt in the open wound man. -

Seriously? You're going start a thread about our playoff position after one damn game. -
That's an accurate assessment of the situation. It is a fair way to treat the players on any team. It should work flawlessly under optimal conditions and in theory should produce a solid squad. What we ended up with from his execution of this master plan is well short of a solid squad. We haven't even gotten to the game preparation thought process employed by the master builder.

You don't need tape to beat us. They are still running basic stuff. Or heaven forbid I hope they are. For whatever reason Rhule or McAdoo or both thought it was...hell I don't know what they were thinking.

When everyone looks lost its not the players.

Who's seat is warmer - Phil Snow or Mike Siravo?
Jon Snow replied to Coreyl90's topic in Carolina Panthers
That same thing is spouted by every Huddler on here. -
You can't make this crap up. It's beyond idiotic for him to step up to a microphone and open his mouth. He should just stick to yes and no answers.

Baker had a perfect QB rating in the 4th quarter
Jon Snow replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
My point is that even the worst qb can have one good quarter of football at some point. It's the other 3 that's the issue. -

I'm sure you can find one quarter of one game where Sam Darnold had a perfect rating. Big whoop. -
When did you figure out Rhule was a fraud?

It sounds good to someone that doesn't understand football I guess? -

He didn't hire himself. I was skeptical from the very beginning given who was doing the coaching search. Therefore my faith was never there to start with. When his choices of OC and DC coaches we announced I cringed. I know it would take a miracle for the tram to be competitive. Then the qb circus began with Teddy. I knew we weren't going anywhere with him but I kept an open mind. Then they traded for Sam. I got physically sick to my stomach. You don't take a USC qb, especially trade for a proven bust. I could go on and on but I digress. I have never had faith that Matt Rhule could build an nfl team nor coach one if someone handed him one already built. He's just out of his depths in the nfl. -
I thought this was going to be a start Darnold thread.

That's not unusual for dline to be reminded to get their hands up. Our dline does the same thing. Every dline we face is going to do the same thing. McAdoo got Baker out of the pocket so he could see the field better, especially on the long TD pass to Robbie. To beat Baker you keep him in the pocket and knock down his passes. He has to move around in the pocket looking for throwing lanes to be effective. If he can't, well, you get games like yesterday.

Had Stefanski not abandoned the run or had a decent qb the Browns when had beaten them even worse. The Browns gave the game away more than the Panthers "took it back". The truth is their oline got tired of beating on the defense and ran out of gas in the heat. Had a decent qb been behind their oline to balance the run and the pass the Panthers would have be destroyed.

Baker Could Be our “Brees”
Jon Snow replied to Move the Panthers to Raleigh's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm not seeing it. He's going to have to play better to get to Jake's level.
