  1. I'm really hoping we offload him for a 2nd and just have a journeyman next year.
  2. We're 6th or 7th worst. There are some bad ones. McCaskeys (CHI) Davis (LV) Adams (TEN) Mara (NYG) Johnson (NYJ) Khan (Jax)
  3. Either way we are going to screw over the Bucs or the Falcons. If the Falcons win tonight and the Bucs beat the Saints. It will depend on us. Falcons beat us, they are in. If they lose, Tampa is in. In the end, we get to ruin somebody's day.
  4. He had 203 yards. 63 came on the first drive which is scripted plays. Breakdown goes: 1st- 3/4 63 yards 2nd- 5/12 91 yards 3rd- 2/6 23 yards 4th- 5/6 26 yards
  5. Thats what I'm hoping for. I hope everyone goes QB crazy in April and we get our pick of the litter on defense.
  6. Nobody will find one on purpose. There is always one weirdo that everyone thinks is a JAG and becomes average or so.
  7. You're debating with people who have told me 2-3 times this weekend that if you "believe real hard" he will be good.
  8. He won't look like a rookie against us, I promise. Commanders are ranked 4th against the pass.
  9. Look man, if he's not happy with Aaron Rodgers, you can go ahead and forget about him being happy here. He's doing this to hopefully land somewhere like LA, GB, KC, etc.
  10. You know- the fugging media is to blame too. All the reporters that follow the Panthers use to just squat and shittttt all over Darnold and Mayfield every single game. Bryce hardly gets anything except from Newton, who at this point has almost zero people taking him seriously anymore.
  11. Oh what I would give for a 00s Steve Smith in this locker room.
  12. First of all.. you don't have to "try" to make Bryce look bad.
  13. I thought it was bad during the Matt Moore and Kyle Allen seasons, but this poo is a whole different level of coping.
  14. The Panthers can make history on Sunday in 3 different defensive categories. First- Most points allowed in a season. Currently, the Panthers are 7th with 496 points allowed. For reference we only allowed 470 in 2019. The top 6 shakes out like this- 1981 Colts-533 2020 Lions-519 2023 Commanders- 518 2008 Lions-517 2021 Jets-504 1966 Giants- 501 Next, the Panthers have allowed the 12th most rushing yards in a season with one game left to go and will likely crack the Top 5- 1978 Bills- 3,228 1980 Saints-3,106 1978 Colts-3,010 1977 Chiefs-2,971 1981 Patriots-2,950 2022 Texans-2,894 1979 Packers- 2,885 1978 Seahawks-2,876 1976 Chiefs-2,861 1950 Colts- 2,857 1973 Patriots-2,850 2024 Panthers-2,830 Finally, it also looks like the Panthers could crack the Top 5 in Total Yards Allowed in a season. Right now, they have 6,340 2012 Saints- 7,042 1981 Colts- 6,793 2021 Jets-6,765 2015 Giants-6,725 2020 Lions-6,716 I'll update this thread with the finals next week.
  15. Yeah even worse when you realize the Bucs pass defense is ranked 31st.
  16. I think everyone except Evero has been given a nod of confidence for next season. If I was Evero, I would be nervous. Tepper hasn't fired anyone in about 13 months so I'm sure he's itching. Probably practicing it in the mirror right now.
  17. Yeah that too. TE middle screen to Stephen Sullivan on 3rd and 11
  18. No, y'all would just find a different excuse when he threw for 176 yards again.
  19. I was screaming this two years ago. Let me dust off my old talking points real quick. 1) Darnold struggled in 2021 in Joe Brady's scheme. If you remember this is where he was getting sacked every play. 3/5 of those OL aren't even on an NFL team anymore. Which is why I get irritated when people complain about this OL. Matt Rhule was also about to can Joe Brady's ass because he had Darnold throwing the ball 30-40 times per game and eventually did. 2) In 2022, Baker was still getting used to McAdoo's scheme the first few games, then Rhule got fired and Wilks went to the run and was very Play Action heavy. The scheme was perfect for Darnold though, which is why when he came back from injury he did pretty decent. (9 TDs 3 INT and 1200 yards in 6 games) It was just managed horribly. If Wilks would have had another season to build pieces around Sam and we would have kept DJ Moore, this franchise would have looked different.
