I think all the flexing has happened except for the last two weeks? I could be wrong though. They won’t announce the Seattle and away Tampa game for another week or two. I think the Saints/Home Tampa game are in stone.

I would do it just for the fact his salary was reduced. I would rotate him into the slot with Coker and McMillan outside to keep Legette from shitting on us. However, they have had their slot guy in Renfrow and haven’t really used him since he had a decent day in Arizona, so while it may be an improvement it does make sense for them not to be interested because they have a dollar store Adam Thielen inactive every week. I think they just use Legette as a decoy because he is fast enough to get open downfield and he can pull help away from Coker and McMillan. Idk

I’ve stopped doing it when I had my last account because I would point things out on film and people would argue with video evidence. Evero runs a lot of heavy zone- mostly Cover 3. His system isn’t designed to rush the passer but rather contain the passer and get coverage sacks. When he blitzes it is very calculated. He hides this though multiple fronts. For example, he runs a 3-4 but will disguise the box with LBs and safeties to hide pressure. He will sometimes show a 4-4 or 5-2. For Cover 3, he tends to leave each CB in a 1/3 and disguise who he is leaving in the center 1/3. He sometimes does this by bringing the safeties underneath and sending the Nickel to the back of 1/3. He did this yesterday when he sent Ransom and got a sack. He will roll the CBs and Safeties too sometimes with the outside corner rolling inside and Nickel stepping to the outside corner from the slot at the snap but it’s less common from him. It’s Capers system but modernized.

Would have to clear like 30 teams on waivers

For those wondering the teams under us have a shot at him first. However, good chance he goes unsigned and then just signs with a NE or Buffalo type team since he wants to be on a “contender” I would worry about KC and PIT

My theory is we are going to get healthy and they will be very focused this time on the Saints because of what happened before. Plus, the NFL is going to want to build up the showdown between us and Tampa so I doubt the refs will poo on us. However, Tampa has New Orleans and Atlanta, I think they will fug around and lose one of those games and we will get lackadaisical in our first game and the Bucs will be locked in.

Tbh, we missed Wallace more than Rozeboom. I think as long as we have Wallace with the dot it doesn’t matter who is opposite. Barnes has been fine, Cherelus was tons better than last year

We are at the same place had we won Monday and took them impending loss against the Rams. I actually think we came out better with more momentum going into the bye week.

They might pick up the 5th year option, but I almost guarantee there will be a plan B on the roster next year that isn’t named Andy Dalton.

With two weeks off, it’s very possible that we get back these guys going into New Orleans. -Jaycee Horn -Christian Rozeboom -Cade Mays -Claudin Cherelus -Robert Hunt (Canales said a few weeks ago that his window should open around the bye week) with Zavala on IR, and us 7-6 he could make his way back) -David Moore (Canales said he expects him available sometime in December) not sure if there is any value in bringing him back.

The only use we could have for him is to have him run at the QB as fast as possible every play with his arms up to cause some type of disruption. If I were Evero I would tape his arms to 2x4s like a touchdown signal and tell him to run C gap every time.
