Like many of you I have followed the Panthers for a long time. I was a PSL owner for nearly a decade and can count on one hand how many Panthers games I have missed watching. When you follow a team this closely, they become tethered in your lives and your worst/best memories. What are some of your most memorable Panthers/Falcons moments? I will share some of mine. 2003- Carolina @ Atlanta I was in high school. Michael Vick was coming back from injury and it was Sunday night football in Atlanta. My grandfather had been very ill and was confined to his bed at this point. He had never been a Panthers fan or football fan in general. I spent Sunday/Sunday nights with him while he was sick to give my other family members a break from his caretaking. That season, he had went from not caring what was on TV to hooping and hollering about the Panthers. That night though sticks out to me. I had actually fallen asleep before him, and he woke me up to tell me it was going into OT. I still remember the oxygen mask around his face as he stared directly at the TV. The Panthers lost the game, but I felt like he and I had actually bonded around something. He died the night after we beat the Rams in the Playoffs that season and he never got to see them in the SuperBowl, but that season will always be special to me beyond the fact that we made it to the Super Bowl that year. 2014- Carolina @ Atlanta The other was the 2014 season in Atlanta. We won the game to go to the post season that year. That night was one of the worst of my life. I sat in the ER after my father had a heart attack. I remember just seeing it up on the screen in the corner of the room and while I sat with Dad in silence, I watched the game to keep my mind busy. My Dad passed about 3am but that game sticks out in my mind as one that was special for more than one reason. I felt like my Dad and I shared that game in that small hospital room.

I would rather go Mason Graham in the 1st. However I think a good 2nd/3rd round DE option would be: Landon Jackson- Arkansas 6'7" 280lbs 6.5 sacks and one FF this season OR Kyle Kennard- South Carolina 6'5" 254lbs 11.5 sacks this season

Not sure about Abdul Carter just yet...

When you start getting into depth in Day 2 and Day 3 yeah. Not a ton of high end talent at the top. -
You pick up the option either way. If he's wanting Top 5 money he can go pound sand long term though.

We haven't had a big bruising back in a while. Would love to see that. I like Mullings.

He's ranked as the top Edge in a weak Edge draft. He's not going to be dynamic like Bosa, Watt, Garrett, Parsons, etc. Honestly, he reminds me of Burns. I would even argue that Mykel Williams will be better in the long term. I wouldn't spend a Top 10 pick on Carter. -
Need to see what the roster looks like. 6-8 wins keeps them on the right track.

A Tankathon Approach to the remaining Schedule

I think I read/watched something years ago that said the rounds 2/3 were the hardest to pick in because it was a gray area before the 4th round talent drop off. -

some rando's opinion... Evero *will be* first to be fired

This is the last year I think. Rams wanted him to come back last year but the Panthers blocked it. According to this article this was the last season. https://theramswire.usatoday.com/2024/01/29/rams-panthers-ejiro-evero-contract-defensive-coordinator/ -
I do remember that but it wasn't a 50/50 split or 60/40 split. It was like 80/20 or 90/10.

Yeah. He runs a lot of 4-3 over which utilizes the 3-tech more. Rivera/McDermott used to run a lot of 4-3 under which gave you a lot of flexibility with your Will LB (Thomas Davis). In SF, Saleh would run a lot of 4-2-5 with a "Big Nickel". We used to use Shaq in that role here when we had a similar defense.
-
Maybe thats why Rhule ran the 3-3. He gives off the impression he is building a 3-4 and then walked Burns to the line for a 4-3 each time.

I like you and all. But crack is bad. Brown played 4-3 in college and will do just fine in a 3T next to Mason Graham.

If you’re wondering how far we have to go

My observation too. -
But you won't that's the point of QB purgatory, dude. There will always be another reason why it didn't work out or you didn't see enough and then it's another year and another year until the band-aid gets ripped off. I know you and the Bryce crowd want him to work because it will put the franchise back on track but hoping doesn't make him better. I said it earlier, Franchise QBs don't have the fanbase split on whether they are the guy or not. You don't have this kind of debate when the guy is the guy.

The Rams are the only reason I have any optimism left. If their owner can figure it out, then about 27/32 can. -

Kind of guy that falls ass backwards into a job he can't perform in while everyone else looks on in awe. Kills the moral fast. My guess is he interviewed well and and the right things at the right times. When the fanbase is right more than the GM (almost every time) it's painfully obvious. -

Matt Rhule looks like one of the guys from a viagra commercial. -
