  1. I have no fugin idea....that's our ride atm tho Such a fugin weird/creepy thing tho reminds me of dead space monsters
  2. For sure it's a tough ask for that and we see it league wide atm from the rookies. I always thought the talk around Jones was pretty stupid though saying he couldn't' play and it was all the Bama players otherwise. He can clearly play you just see all this weird poo these days with people on these extremist takes. There's a way to bring up Jones in relation to the Panthers on if we should have picked him and this OP clearly isn't it. There's no place behind this OL for any of these rookies and if we had picked one they would just have had to sit.
  3. Def. not "great" but here are the rookie QBs right now, he's arguably been the best 2nd best at worst. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/rookie-qb-stats-in-the-nfl-2021
  4. https://twitter.com/jonmalexander/status/1451218676976394246?s=20 Dunno whats going on with the link not showing right but JA saying Panthers aren't in on Watson talks
  5. Probably but decision making is one of those things that can actually improve. Like people talk about mechanics all the time but it basically never gets fixed if yours is off. Arm talent doesn't increase any significant way by the time you're in the NFL your arm is what it is. Athleticism can improve a little bit but that's also not his issue. Arm - check Athleticism - check Mechanics - good enough not the best Decision Making - survey's the field, goes through progression, still throws to the wrong guy. So the easy part is what's wrong...it's harder to teach someone to go through reads than it is to teach them to throw it away. That's really the maddening part is that what's wrong with Sam should be the easy part. I actually don't it's a done deal for him but it's closer to that than not at this point. Was also the 3rd pick for us so I think the FO/staff knows and if we can get a better QB we will when we can. I'm also wishful thinking here!!!! *toss a penny in*
  6. And also the screen name is Igor really can't make this poo up
  7. If we was any kind of lucky that 4th Q drive would be what kick starts that Darnold confidence and then also knowing our luck he'll come out 20/20 300 yards 3TDs then get hurt in the 4th Q vs the Giants or something. That's really the Panther way there.
  8. My crazy is has us in the 20's That's why I wasn't thinking OT...we gon win...right fellers...right?
  9. I was expecting that too. If there is a C where we pick I probably would just grab him in the first or if we can drop back and still get the C then do that. I just still think it'd be worth to go best OL available with our 1 and the rest of the picks are toss ups really but at least we've shown to be able to pick later in the rounds.
  10. Round 1 The Carolina Panthers traded their second-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft to the New York Jets in exchange for QB Sam Darnold. They also traded their fourth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft to the Jets as part of the deal for Darnold. In acquiring CB C.J. Henderson, the Panthers traded their third-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft to the Jacksonville Jaguars. They also received a fifth-round 2022 NFL Draft pick, with TE Dan Arnold heading in the opposite direction. Round 4 (from Texans): The Panthers received the Houston Texans’ fourth-round 2022 NFL Draft pick as part of a trade in the 2021 NFL Draft that saw the Texans select Michigan WR Nico Collins. Round 5 (from Jaguars): Acquired in the C.J. Henderson trade. Round 5: Round 6: Round 6 (from Raiders): The Panthers received the Las Vegas Raiders’ sixth-round selection in exchange for LB Denzel Perryman and a 2022 NFL Draft seventh-round pick. As a result, the Panthers don’t own their seventh-round pick. Round 7 (from Titans): The Panthers received this seventh-round pick from the Titans (via the Dolphins) following the trade to Miami of OT Greg Little. Well poo overall we still have a number of picks but 2nd/3rd rounders can usually yield starters so it looks worse than it is overall as we still have 7 picks but the value of our picks is looking rough.
  11. I wonder what we'd be in it for...draft picks falling faster than our players at this point.
  12. This isn't hindsight either in the draft thread a number of us were talking about the C's and Smith specifically but other Gs as well. This OL wouldn't be weak at all given those two and rookies at that. LT would still leave a lot to be desired but can actually plan around one really weak spot rather than 4.
  13. Yea was gonna say or even Trey Smif in the 3rd...would be looking better overall as a team but that's not TM's fault and he's still a player. Getting Shi Smith who can play later in the rounds as well makes it looks worse from a team building perspective. Would much rather have Humphrey and Smith but here we are.
  14. I mean we have been saying our trainers/docs have to be trash given everything that's happened with our players over the years...to hear this is honestly pretty appalling. Don't fug with peoples health/lives like this. It's one thing for a grown man to suit up and do what he wants to do given correct knowledge of his current health but if you say you're fixing this and you don't that pisses me off so bad. When the best defense is negligence....at worse this could be what?(yo do a exploratory scope and tell em he's good on some placebo poo so he won't miss the year) That should piss everyone off tbh.
  15. Yea but what does that have to do with anything. If someone is punishment worthy then you punish them yea? What other situation has been like this. Neither is anywhere near good but the women I know would rather get bopped in the face a good one than....well yall know so....like if you piece up a women its quick and easy punishment but if you....then it's self benching? My maff ain't adding up here.
  16. One of the team members that actually has shown improvement...imagine that poo.
  17. I think we could all agree the Watson thing from the league punishment perspective has been bizarre as ***. Like he's not suspended or commissioners list or nothing. So is the evidence lacking or what b/c if there was proof of the more egregious poo how could there possibly be nothing done...
  18. Yea the D gets no pass what so ever we have all the resources there including an entire historic draft, best FAs, and trades. Hell yea you best stop someone. A lot of what you see may also be attributed to youth which is a valid excuse as of right now but if it continues to be then it'll mean another ding on the coaching staff if they don't put it all together. We've seen units gel and others never actually get over the "youth" part of making mistakes so a lot is very much in the air but the talent is there.
