I remember him as the stand-up comedian. I don't watch much network TV and have never seen an episode of L&O, so I'm not familiar with his work there. As a stand-up, though, he was pretty irreverent and reminded me a lot of Lenny Bruce.

Yeah, he's listed day-to-day because of a hand injury, at least that's what I read somewhere yesterday.

I'm curious whether Burns has made a phone call yet. Kane does not have Carolina on his list of NMTC teams, and I don't think he's on Waddel's wish list regardless. NY is the hurdle in the Metro division the Canes cannot seem to get over, and they've gotten better this week.

And the largest size is a 2X... not big enough for me..... -
There's $12M in free money sitting there. If no trade is going to happen, DW would use the money to start extending contracts of upcoming free agents. Players are going to get moved, it's just a matter of when.

I made a stupid mistake trying to sell this house
Anybodyhome replied to cardiackat88.'s topic in Huddle Lounge
As a former state licensed real estate home inspector in both Virginia and NC, and a former housing code inspector, and code administrator for a major municipality in NC, I will explain how county health departments and city housing code people deal with reports/complaints of mold. Simply put, the mold is not the problem. The mold is the result of the problem- that being a higher than normal moisture content inside the dwelling. Higher than normal moisture content and the resulting mold are not normal and should not be accepted as such. Start from the bottom and work up. Crawl space or basement- look for water intrusion, moisture intrusion and measure the humidity, not only the air, but the framing lumber as well. Inside the house, look for plumbing leaks. The 2 biggest sources of high moisture content and higher than normal humidity are the laundry room and the bathrooms. Is the dryer vent properly installed and vented to the outside and not just dumping into the crawl space? Holes or leaks in the duct? Is there a working exhaust fan in the bathroom and/or a ventilating window? Is there any indication of mold in the bathroom, either the ceilings or walls? Mold in the attic? Is there a ridge vent in the roof or operating gable vents on both ends of the house? One or both of these are designed specifically to keep air moving in the attic. Air circulation prevents mold, moisture buildup and also keeps the heat down in the attic. Hot air rises, and in the winter in houses, it rises through the house into the attic. And from there it further rises and escapes via the ridge vent or the gable vents. I would suggest resolving the moisture issue, then you're not repeatedly trying to mitigate mold and never addressing the reason it's there to begin with. -

Should that jacket become available, I will own it. -
So, here's the play and slo-mo replay of Anthony Mantha, member of the Washington Caps goon squad slew-footing Martinook, hitting him twice in the face while he was down and then landing a cross check to the head when he was trying to get up. NHL refs for the stadium game missed what should have been a 4 minute penalty and will likely not even levy any fines. Only goes to add to the Caps reputation as a bunch of cheap shot players on a mediocre hockey team. The new Caps motto: "Can't play with the big boys? Just play dirty and don't worry about the losing."

Just gonna put this out there.... The 25th Anniversary of the Canes has been much better done than the Panthers 25th.

Good win on a nationally televised game. Solid across the board, maybe a couple defensive lapses, but they kept the forechevk going all night and every one of their 4 goals were clean and well played. Oh, and that Necas goal was an Ovi special.... -

Calamari followed by a chopped blue cheese salad. Grilled swordfish steak with Bernaise sauce and loaded baked potato. 2018 Cuttings Cabernet from The Prisoner. In my favorite chair watching on my Samsung Frame with my wife who is a huge Caniac. Well, she's not huge, but she's a huge fan..., well.... fug it, you know what I mean. -

Nothing about the Mantha hit/slew foot on Martinook was clean. Fug him, fug Wilson and fug Washington. I hope this goes about 7-0. -

Everyone was right... fed into every stereotype of the south in the matter of 45 minutes. I've lived in this state for 30 years now and I had a hard time understanding anything that guy was singing. But I'm sure there were trucks, girls, beer, booze, dogs and shitkicking. -

Washington already gooning it up and the refs have called nothing. This could be tough unless Carolina just puts it out of reach. Hope no one gets hurt tonite. Aho has been penalty-worthy tripped and cross checked already. -

Well, no better way to display that is to beat southern teams... like the Canes. Seems like most Canadian teams have difficulty with that. -

WTF!?!? 2023 1st round pick, 2024 2nd round pick, 2023 3rd round pick, and 2 forwards. Holy balls..... that's a lot. And, it really puts other teams on notice for future trades the closer to the deadline we get. If Timo Meier is still on Carolina's radar, his price may have just gone up by another draft pick or player.

I think we got up to 103dB at the Canadiens game Thursday night. Let's see how loud Carter Finley can get. For all you attending, have fun and talk as much sh!t as you possibly can to Caps fans! They fell out of the wild card playoff picture last night as they've lost 3 in a row. -

Pork is a good choice since that's what Washington is known for producing. -
I had my last in 2011 after 37 years. Did it stoned cold and it was a tough go in the tobacco country of Southwest Virginia, at the time. While I'll admit I've had 2, maybe 3 smokes since then, I never went back. Yeah, I've added some poundage, but my wife, who is allergic to cigarette smoke, said she'll take that over smoking. The best part is this- my annual physicals and a few additional tests and chest x-rays over the years, as of right now there is no physical indication that I've ever smoked.

I will not be in attendance, but I will get to see the game, which was kind of up in the air until earlier this morning. It appears the Canes will face the same lineup tomorrow night as Tuesday. Let's see if RBA switches lines again to make some offensive noise. It appears to have worked last night!
