I still like Domi much better in the middle and Stepan has been playing well, tough to sit veteran leadership he brings. I was at that show. One of the last concerts we attended before COVID. And the 2018-2019 season playoff series against the Islanders- we were in attendance for the game 4 win and sweep and was honored as the Hero of the Game that night.

He started 3 years at an SEC school and he got drafted, so there's a skill set to be seen somewhere. I haven't seen him play since the 2020 season and I saw a lot of frustration, a lot of temper, a lot of attitude and a lot of what looked to me like giving up during games. Hopefully he matured during his senior season, because I liked what I saw when he started as a sophomore, but seemed to take a step backward in his junior season.

In 4 years a lot of people will be saying, "We let Darnold walk for this guy?" Clausen 2.0.

I've seen 3-4 games... kind of. Had the TV tuned in while I was doing other things, but it's like watching early training camp before the first round of cuts. Especially on the WR/TE side, where you might see more dropped passes in one game than you'll see all season with any NFL team. Other than that it's a little entertaining- the mikes pick up everything and you can listen to the radio calls between bench and players. It's okay...

So, while the remainder of this year's draft is camp-fodder for everyone else, the Panthers need to find diamonds in the large pile of crap that is this year's class. 5-12 season is the Rhule, not the exception.

That's one of the 3. Jacobs and Abram? I'd keep both of them for a 5th year.

The NFL schedule has 17 games. The NHL schedule has 80 games. The Carolina Hurricanes have lost 20 games this season. The Carolina Panthers have lost 23 games in the last 2 seasons.

Wouldn't surprise me if they win again. The Devils are missing some key guys tonite as well.

If Lorentz finds his physicality and starts playing heavier, he'd be a lot more effective. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that may not come until he's on someone else's roster.

I think Vinny, because he got his first game off of the season the other day, is now the defacto leader on the ice with the "C" (Staal) and one of the "A"s (Slavin) taking the night off. Be interested to see who is wearing the C and the other A.

The Canes took care of business when they had to- a real gut check game in Madison Square Garden against a favored and chasing Ranger team who were looking to tie the top spot in the Metro as well as tie the regular season series. Last Time Out: The Canes locked up their 2022 Metropolitan Division championship Tuesday night by hanging on for a win over the New York Rangers. Pyotr Kochetkov weathered an early storm for the team inside Madison Square Garden, aiding in a pivotal turning point in the game. Carolina was forced to kill off three penalties in a span of 7:04 and they did so successfully, then allowing them to pick up the game's momentum. Less than two minutes later they scored, kicking off a three-goal second period swing. Tack on an early third marker from Sebastian Aho and that would be all that the Canes needed to close the book. Franchise History: In addition to locking up the number one seed in the Metro, the Canes also set two new records for the organization on Tuesday. The team picked up their 53rd win of the season and in turn their 113th and 114th points of the season, both new highs. Now, he's won his first three games in three appearances in four days.
