Harbaugh played QB in the late 80's early 90's, God bless those QBs from that era, some would say they've had some screws knocked loose. I can see how his drive and passion and discipline might offend some folk. As a player like Ron Rivera he had a very long career at QB for the Bears. That's instant respect. You've been in the NFL, you know the grind. What it takes. How hard it is. Why you have to be locked in.

If he came here and did almost as good a job he did in SF he'd be in serious running for best Panthers coach. Look at the man. He's in amazing shape for a guy his age. That is a physical manifestation of elite self discipline. Probably from being a pro in the 80's and 90's. Slobberknocker football. He's good at getting guys to lock in and commit to the task at hand. If he was YOUR douchenozzle like Smitty, you'd love him too.
