Rebuilding.... doesn't look good give it time. We don't need a superstar QB, Justin Herbert, Mac Jones or Kyle Trask College culture and players = NFL culture and players Teddy Bridgewater and Sam Darnold are waaaay better in this system and have better health and a much better arm than recent Patriot Cam Newton. Marinate on that.

Yeah, Cam now may not be <2015 Cam but he's at least %85+ and he was just playing in the NFL(in a system once again not catering to him but he did it). You could instantly plug him in with DJ and CMC who he knows and performed well with, so much so had Cam stayed DJ would be an all pro by now. That + THIS defense and him calling say Luke or TD to "Give me 30 days" this team as it is structured could contend. Nobody at BofA thinks like that though. It's opposite world.

Marty Hurney was like the only GM to fly to Oregon to see Justin Herbert while everyone else was locking down. Marty was about to move heaven and earth to get Herbert here. Cam would take on this challenge in a heartbeat. You may be right though but the competitor in him would relish coming back home to his adoring fans and hit the supercam in BofA and the place go absolutely nuts as it would and should. Honestly if THIS defense had just a little more help from the offense this would be a pretty good team. I said before this season that our defense would beast. I also said this offense wouldn't be able to score enough points in a dog fight.

Cam would be fun to watch regardless. He would instantly make DJ a top receiver again, they had a great connection. Cam would fill the void of leadership that is missing on offense almost immediately. Haters gonna keep hating though. The thing is, I'd pay for that ticket. Right the wrong let a rookie QB sit behind him, let him retire with full Panther honors and the respect he deserved. Better than this sht show obviously.
