From Pantherswire quoting Reich Reich also touched on cornerback Jaycee Horn, who hasn’t been on the field since sustaining a hamstring injury in Week 1. “Yeah, Jaycee—makin’ great progress,” Reich replied. “Still, probably a week or so, a week or two away.” Horn underwent a surgical procedure on the hamstring injury back in September. He has played in 17 of a possible 40 games since being drafted with the eighth overall pick in 2021.

Wilks was smart enough to know that all that offense side of the ball knew how to deal well was run the oline was set up for power running they had a poor veteran qb and only one decent receiver this year. Different staff. Different scheme still bad receivers and average RBs and a rookie qb and an oline that requires zone blocking when it was assembled for power run net Wilks worked with what he had until he could do better Reich and company has done a scheme change tegardl ss of personnel so, here we are you know these things

…and that, is the David Tepper era in a nutshell and why they are 30 wins and 59 losses (believe that is the WL stat) during his time here successful teams have a scheme. That scheme has a blueprint for drafting and free agency this guy throws things at the wall…maybe, he’ll get lucky -

There was an offensive scheme change and not sure he fits it Brady is also not a LG. it is a total mystery, when it’s clear he needs help, that offensive coaches are not giving it to him and are letting their #1 draft pick get mauled every game there are certainly was to scheme around this situation the coaches are just not doing it I guess they are ‘just a wishing and a hoping’ for a miracle Frustrating , There were warning signs with the last game injuries to key starters last year and nothing of consequence was done to fix it and lack of depth -
I wanted to add to,what Reich said in his press conference about the game bowl choice ‘Was there a game ball that went out? "Yeah, so sometimes right after the game you give out a couple immediately and then we'll give out some tomorrow. But obviously gave one to Eddy Pineiro. Got a walk-off field goal. Always going to get a game ball there. Thomas Brown, him calling his first game, you know, in the NFL, being clutch in the fourth quarter in that last drive. Had great poise, great control. Did a good job of sequencing that drive. Then the guys, I know this meant a lot to Bryce, but Frankie and the guys wanted to give Bryce a game ball. His first win. So that was a pretty big deal." ‘

Reich gave game balls to Young, Pinero, Brown He should’ve given one to Luvu No idea what he was thinking…if anything

Certainly possible…Maybe…or maybe Reich is the one to go or maybe they increase his salary and position too early to tell. -

I still, do not understand, how Blackshear is not rb2. I haven’t all season. All he does is make plays. You can tell he loves the game give me that player a million times over than Sanders -
This game, with all these injuries on the d side of the ball, belongs to the defense proud of their effort today shout out to the Luvus’ Their son played like a man possessed today

While a probable true observation. One has to wonder why the coaches are not scheming help on the left side so e co ing in the gap between the LT and Lg hard to know whose responsibility it was 3 TEs suited up for this game surely one of them could’ve helped out seeing young getting the poo beat out of him is getting really old -

No lol. He made his presence known. Not in a good way . it is just a shame seeing qb beat to death for no reason Sullivan. Tremble. Hurst. Do something with them to help the left side of that line -

He is patting the ball before he throws it it is telling the defense when to jump up that's what I see. … it’s one thing f he does that and goes the opposite way but so far, that’s not the case -
From what I’ve seen, Young does not scare NFL defenses…not with his legs or his arm or his sturdiness in the pocket and that is a problem if that ball isn’t out of his hands in 3 seconds or less, it’s over …there’s very little off script play making I want to drink the koolaide but it’s not there for me Yes, he is a rookie, yes it’s a new scheme, yes the talent on the Panthers is not the best, but I honestly do not see Young age an ascendant QB, not in the NFL. he is, frankly, painful to watch It feels pro ponderously hopeless to watch him I will be thrilled to be wrong. The Texans defense is hardly world beaters, I’d really like to see what they saw in him when it matters…not in garbage time …with the ball in his hands to win a game, can he? I don’t know

How do the Panthers move forward in a tanked season
raleigh-panther replied to Verge's topic in Carolina Panthers
It is simply mind boggling knowing how paper thin this oline was, and with two vets coming back from surgery, that nothing was done to bulk up that oline They also know they had a probable scheme fit mismatch same is true of the CB position…they know horn is made of glass…they know what DJAX and CJ are in a pass happy league what this front office and coaching staff focuses on is simply not palatable anymore want better play, fix the damned oline Have backups for it. Make it a priority sick if it. Tired and sick Fitterer. Leave, just go
