  1. Who's the top FB available? Since it seems the Panthers are returning to Foxball, they'll need one.
  2. Disagree. I'd rather see them add a LB, safety, TE, center, guard, or DE. PJ's cap hit counts this year regardless. Might as well let him hold a clipboard as the number 3 guy instead of paying someone else to do it in addition to paying PJ.
  3. Darnold will start at least half the games. I can see Corral getting a shot after Darnold poos the bed to the point Rhule is forced to make a change.
  4. Cam looks like an NBA power forward in that picture. The other guys looks like an insurance salesman.
  5. If the Panthers want Howell and are waiting for a team to take another QB, that could be a mistake. Howell could go before Willis after all.
  6. Alright dude. You've run that joke into the ground. It's past time to stop beating a dead horse.
  7. I think a lot of the Willis hype is coming from people that want a Cam 2.0 and since Willis looks up to Cam and went to the same high school, well, he's the chosen one for now.
  8. That's something I've seen wrestling fans say a lot.
  9. He can work on any flaws in his play. I'm just glad the Panthers finally put first round talent at tackle again.
  10. The draft is long and honestly, boring. If you would rather do something else, go do something else. You can always use your phone to check for updates.
  11. This has went very nicely for the Panthers. Now watch them screw it up.
  12. Just pretend someone is announcing Sam as the QB pick in the second round and Henderson is the pick in the third. Problem solved for those missing picks.
  13. ESPN has already sort of spoiled the pick. McShay and Kiper both are saying the Panthers will take Neal at 6. That's the kiss of death.
  14. Right, because people never think they know better than others regardless of experience. It's not like things have never been invented, new processes developed, or in the NFL's case, new plays created because someone decided they knew better than the more experienced folks that came before. As for Rhule being on the hot seat, there is zero proof of that. Heck, even before Tepper's press conference the last rumor was Florio in early March. The only ones really talking about Rhule and the hot seat are fans that are wishing it's true.
  15. How do you know he'll be forced to listen to them? And even if he does, what is there to guarantee that he'll take their advice to heart instead of dismissing it out of hand?
  16. I've said it several times before and still believe Rhule gets at least 4 years. Tepper doesn't strike me as the sort that will spend millions for someone to sit at home. Then add his ego, desire to outsmart every other team, and the desire to be right about Rhule.
  17. I've lurked here for years before I started to post last year and I recall seeing people whine when winning too, mostly about the refs or coaches. But that is the nature of fandom.
  18. Churning the bottom of the roster with cheap rookies and UDFAs is fine when you have good, established starters. Doing so at the expense of adding starters and quality backups when you need them is as you said insane.
  19. This is something I would love to see. The bottom of the roster doesn't matter when you need talent at the top of it.
  20. That's a more accurate statement. I honestly don't think Tepper cares about winning or losing. He's a guy that said he believes the NFL is a 500 league. If you believe the league is 50/50, then you're ok with losing.
  21. The smugness after a win is just as bad. Some act like one win means playoffs. A lot of people here bought into the hype and thought the team was a lot better than it ended up being. Watching this place go from being Rhule believers to Rhule haters has been funny. I don't hate the guy, and I've said since early last season that he's in over his head. There is no reason to hate someone I've never met for being bad at his job. I just don't think he's an NFL coach.
