Only 2 points from PJ so far according to the boxscore. I turned it off with the Hornets down 14 or so five minutes ago. This is why he wasn't selected to the all star game. He still has too many nights like this where he doesn't play well.

Everything I've heard except for some conjecture here, is that Rhule has complete control. So, if Rhule is in charge, how is Fitt going to make draft choices that aren't in Rhule's interest? On that same token, there is zero proof that Rhule is on the hot seat. I'm one of the few that were saying the Panthers weren't a playoff team and Rhule was in over his head when most people here were crowing about how good a coach Rhule was and this was a playoff team. So, I've wanted him gone for some time, but I've seen zero from Tepper to make me think he'll pull the trigger until the majority of that contract is over with as he seems to only really care about money.

You may think it's weird, but it makes perfect sense for Tepper's Panthers. Tepper and his brain trust think they are smarter than everyone else, so this works for them. Joking aside, I still think they take Howell if they go QB at 6. Howell ticks that UNC box that Tepper can use to sell more merch.

How is Fitts going to save the team from itself? Either he's a yes man with no power, or he's part of the problem based off the trades and free agents that has been made since he's joined the team.

Miles has had a bad game. Him and Oubre are back to sharing scoring talent, so are switching off who has double digit scoring. Great game by LaMelo though.

Exactly. I'd like to see Tepper clean house, but I don't think he will. If Rhule wins more than 5 games, odds are he's back another year. Heck, I think he'll be back anyway since Tepper hasn't shown to be a good owner.

If he's a yes man, then he only did what his boss wanted him to do. That said, I'm all for either cleaning house and starting completely over or letting Fitt have a go as the guy in charge. If Fitt takes over and crashes, it'll just add to the amusement I get from watching the Panthers burn. If he succeeds or Tepper cleans house, it'll restore some hope I have as a fan. I win either way.

Howell or Pickett, come on down. You're the next QB of the Panthers. Pray to God or whoever you wish to protect you from the versatile line we put in front of you.

Not a good game at all. The Hornets just weren't on. They've had too many of those games lately. Guess they really miss Oubre and Hayward.

The 2020 draft might look better if Brown turns it on before his contract year and if Chinn gets moved to either SS or back to LB. 2021 though? Passing on better prospects to churn the bottom of the roster or because Rhule felt they were all roughly the same caliber will not turn out well.
