The last couple of games have been Bobcats bad.

It's too early to say that due to his injury. Horn looked promising before getting injured, but who knows how he would have turned out.

True. That said, if the tackles are gone or have concerns(injures, character, etc) then go with Linderbaum. A 10+ year center isn't nothing to sneeze at either.

This is why the Panthers will botch the draft and take a QB. That or trade back and take more defense.

Yeah, it would most likely be a huge mistake to take Howell or any QB for that matter that high. But, this is the Panthers and making the wrong pick has become the norm the last few years.

But half the fun will be Rhule picking Howell and ruining his career so non-UNC fans can point and laugh.

I feel Howell could be the pick for the Panthers, especially if another QB or two gets selected before they pick. Tepper and Co know the UNC fans will buy tickets and merch to support one of their guys.

If he can shoot 3s and play even a little defense, the NBA will find a place for him.

This is an issue with most guys playing PG these days. Nobody wants to run the offense and pass. They would rather take the shot themselves.

So, Hubert needs to recruit guards? That should be fairly easy since the NBA is a guards' league.

I remember at the beginning of the season, JB said one of the team's goals was to have a top ten defense. They currently have a defensive rating of 114.3, which is worst in the league. It also puts the Hornets in the running for having one of the top ten worst defenses of all time. It might be time to stop slacking off shooters, stick to their man, and just let the bigs do what they can alone.

If I was Tepper calling Rhule into my office, it would be to clean out his office and pack his bags.

That should sell Rhule on him, but what is his arm length?

I was watching a game on ESPN the other night and they had McShay's mock draft running across the ticker at the bottom of the screen and showed Cross as the Panthers' pick. So, that's probably not going to happen.

The Hornets won't make the playoffs playing like this. Maybe they buy into the hype or something. JB and his staff must do a better job of having the Hornets play with a consistent effort.
