  1. The Cards had made some nice adjustments until McCoy gave Jackson a freebie
  2. The coaching staff wasn't calling plays that played to the players' strengths once CMC went out.
  3. He's got the kind of voice that makes you want to sleep
  4. You might need this. It's football, not life and death
  5. Can't recall the last time I've seen an injured official
  6. I like seeing the kicker work the refs before the game.
  7. Didn't see enough last season or during the preseason to know?
  8. Battle of the backup QBs? This might be one of the worst games of the last decade.
  9. That's easy. PJ is one of Rhule's college guys that needed a job.
  10. That's not necessarily a good choice either. Yeah Fitt loves to make trades and it can be exciting, but that isn't always a good thing either.
  11. How they view the upcoming QBs may be more of a worry than anyone knows. Their previous choices haven't been good. And Tepper may force them to take a guy even if Rhule and Co aren't sold on him just to have a rookie QB on the roster regardless of Cam's status with the team. The longer Rhule and Co are in charge the worse I feel that Tepper made a huge mistake that will set the team back that much further. And Honestly, I don't feel good about Tepper as an owner either. But we're stuck with him unless the NFL forces a sale.
  12. What rebuild? They're in win now mode with a team that can't win now. This will probably end up worse for the Panthers than when the Hornets cut their rebuild short years ago by signing Big Al and thinking him and a young Kemba were enough.
  13. Yeah, signing Cam was a panic move and had nothing to do with correcting a "wrong" like a lot of fans think. It was more a business and PR move than a football move. And it's worked for them. People are saying they'll buy tickets and go to the games again. It also got the Panthers a lot of good press. It doesn't change the Oline and them being one of the worst units the Panthers have ever fielded nor that this is a 6-9 win team even with Cam. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
  14. Bouknight was 9-22 for 33 points in his debut. 5-12 from 3. He also had 7 boards, 3 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block. Jones was 6-9 for 15 points. He also had 7 boards, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 5 blocks. Jones was 1-1 from 3. Thor was 5-10 for 10 points. 0-3 from 3. He also had 7 boards, 2 assists, and 1 steal. Everyone else is pretty much scrubs and that includes the middle Ball child. He only played 4 minutes. Jones is probably too light to play against NBA starters, but I wouldn't mind seeing him get some back up minutes. Him and Richards would probably be a better combo than Plumlee and Richards. Both at least try to rebound and block shots. Bouknight is good enough for backup minutes and honestly should be backing up Terry and LaMelo.
  15. Bouknight has played fairly well and seems to me that he would be a better running mate for Ball than Rozier.
  16. Jones makes some hightlight dunks and tries on defense, but he's raw as can be. Bounknight needs to shoot 3s a foot or two behind the line. He's hit them, but not those closer in.
  17. The Swarm give up the buzzer beating 3s too. Bouknight has hit a couple of 3s from a foot or two past the line. Maybe he's found his sweet spot.
