I'm afraid people with flood insurance up there will still be fugged. The insurance companies are not going to pay out the tens/hundreds of millions that have been lost. As you said, insurance is a scam.

Might want to learn how to use smoke signals! Joking aside, hopefully the phone companies will get at least some service back up in a couple of weeks at worst. But as bad as it looks, it might be a while.

I'm not sure about the data. I do know people that live there say this is the worst it's been since the 1920s for some areas and the 1940s for others. That's why I go with the 100 year/once in a lifetime thing. I didn't have tornadoes in the mountains in my head either, but we've posted pictures and videos earlier in this thread of that happening near Banner Elk. As the old saying goes, poo happens.

Stroud only became the favorite after Carolina's visit. Before that Young was the favorite and had been since before the end of the season leading up to the draft. Then Young became the favorite again following his pro day/Carolina visit.
