Sounds about right. McDaniels is a positional coach and average OC at his best. The Belicheck coaching tree is awful and I don’t know why they continue to get hired.

McAdoo needs to be fired the minute after the season ends. It’s painfully obvious. McDaniels is a terrible, terrible head coach and even worse he seems to be a spoiled brat. Raiders made a big mistake hiring him and are probably stuck with him since Davis is the poorest owner in the league. They need to hit the reset button.

Someone asked on a UNC social post if the heels will have anybody to play in the secondary next year? my question is did they have anyone playing in the secondary this year? Easily one of the worst I’ve ever seen

It is completely broken. There are no rules and no regulations except for that the school can’t directly pay the players for whatever sham NIL deal they can bribe them with. Friends of the program can though. NCAA had a chancE to get out in front of it but they were not proactive at all about anything.

So once a player commits and signs, hell once they are on campus living in a dorm, the coaches are gonna STILL have to keep recruiting these players. There is going to be illegal tampering, we saw it with Jordan Addison last year, and Mack Brown said there were people trying to buy Josh Downs last season. While I fully support players being able to cash in on their NIL..what they got going on now is a disaster and completely unfair. There has to be some regulations and rules. I’d probably look at bringing back the 1 year transfer rule and make a firm example of teams that are tampering. Not that it matters because he won’t play as long as Maye is At UNC but Criswell enters portal after Clemson loss, and I believe he is already committed to Arkansas. Lol. Def some behind the scenes payola going on there. Lord knows how I was when I was a teenager, but with the social media stuff and Twitter announcements etc these kids are all spoiled and if they don’t get their way they will just pack up and go home. NCAA has a mess on its hands but they are a terrible organization with zero leadership and accountability so I’m sure nothing will be done. :P

Well, in your defense, I did tune in to Jim Rome today and he cited the tweet so it happens to the best of us, especially with the war zone of bullshit Twitter is now. Dawson Garcia transferred from UNC back to Minnesota claiming family problems. That’s his second transfer in less than a year - and while it was documented his elderly grandmother did pass away, there was significant, credible chatter with some UNC outlets that he was butthurt Manek took his starting spot and used this an excuse to leave. I don’t think he was missed considering what the UNC team looked like once he was gone and the Marquette / UNC NCAA press conference when a reporter asked Bacot if they were gonna talk to DG about Marquette and they all started laughing.

There’s always been cheating and paying kids and their handlers under the table. Danny Ford won a championship in the 80s and Clemson doing it. Duke was able to get Zion’s momma a “consultant job” at Nike and a dope rental house among other things. Miami football, UCLA basketball in their prime were paying guys like crazy. The list goes on. but now it’s accepted and completely unregulated. It’s a disaster. The NCAA can’t enforce anything and it’s basically fraudulent/sham NIL deals being used to bribe players. something has to be done or it’s gonna destroy a sport like college FB unless u are a fan of 10-15 teams.

I mean he said point blank that them just showing up ain’t good enough. They have a unique opportunity to get paid serious money and are just pissing it away while embarrassing the school town and fans. UNC sports could use a stern talking to like that and ruffling some feathers.

I watched that entire video and yeah some of it was some corny showmanship but you can not tell me he isn’t gonna challenge his players and recruit very well. Certainly looks like a home run hire and people clowning on prime are gonna wish their school hired him in a couple seasons.
