I actually like that play with Smith Marsette. One missed tackle, and it might have went a little further.

He is averaging 1.6 yards a carry today and has a fumble. That is probably why he is not playing.

I agree, he doesn't deserve top money. But the front office has played his situation so poorly, that we may have no choice but to pay him good money, or face the prospect of him walking and we get nothing other than some comp picks. And if he walks, we either have to spend one of our few draft picks on another edge, or pay free agent money for someone. Rock and a hard place for us.

Well, they didn't screw it up. But the way our season has gone, Atlanta will go on a long td drive now.

I thought Young threw to the wrong guy and threw behind, but Thielen should have caught that.

I disagree. Young made some nice plays on that drive. He also made some rookie mistakes, but those are fixable. Unfortunately, there has been way to few drives like that one. And Bryce does often look lost. Of Course, our red zone play was atrocious as usual.

Today, they are very slick.

Denver and Detroit both show what a difference the right coach makes. Russel Wilson looked as bad last year as Bryce Young does this year. But now, he looks like his old self. And Detroit's coach has them looking better than they have in a long time. Hope we can get a coach that makes that much of a difference.

I seriously doubt that. Apparently Hurney and the Owner are fairly close. And Hurney is not a GM. He only advises, doesn't make the calls. Sheehan: Marty Hurney now a trusted advisor to Josh Harris? (audacy.com)

Did you see the catches their receivers made? BY has struggled, no doubt about it, but the catch and td by Higgins was a bad throw by the qb, and a fantastic play by the receiver.
