Young needs competition. It may not come from draft but it needs to happen. Its not about replacing him as soon as possible but having somebody on the roster that he has to show he is clearly better than and if he isn't showing improvement during the season they can step in and elevate the team. Another year of this current performance is not gonna cut it. its too much time, work, preparation put into a season but many individuals to ride on one guys performance. You gotta have somebody ready that can perform at reasonable expectations if he is still underwhelming.

I have been saying for a while i got college gameday analysis once i really started evaluating bryce. Great college Qb not built for the NFL.

Of course i thought Stroud was the clear pick, second round i liked mingo but Torrence the guard from FL was still on the board and i would have took him at our pick instead as i thought he would be gone in first round. I also thought Dawan Jones was clearly one of the best tackles in the draft when the experts had him as a late rounder. I know i dont know as much as those guys but its irritating when you are so sure about a player and they arent and that player hits the ground running.

Really depends how the board falls. That aside i would look at OL or WR in the second. I definitely think we should get a QB but it aint gonna happen with first pick.

Great info...i was somebody who pointed this stuff out during the draft process. I wasnt fooled by the hype machine, this whole situation has just made me hate alabama even more. Them getting into the playoffs is a crock of poo.
