  1. Yea it was a big school my freshman and Sophmore years were in a 5aa school in Texas, but even here in central NC at my decent sized school in wake county we ran what power heavy guard pulling, iForm 13 personal and 12 personal with a pretty advanced coryell style PA attack (granted my school in texas we were state champs) and Here in east wake we lost the 4AA semi finals, so these were both "football schools" the offenses and defenses we ran back then are 20x more complex than what you see out of power conference schools now... its crazy.
  2. Completely different eras of football too Brees first three seasons were before the no contact after 5 yards rule.... when DBS could mug WRs all the way down the feild.... Bryce would struggle to average 50 yards passing a game in that era.
  3. Dude is a raw dk metcalf.... a quarterback who can't see the middle of the field and doesnt have the arm strength to zip plants and deep posts isnt gonna do him any good.
  4. I mean I'm an early millennial and we ran a lot of these concepts when I was in high school in the late 90s early 2000s its crazy how over simplified college ball has become.
  5. omg you are so funny you kill me 2023 Chark and theilen both had their best games of the season the one start Dalton got AT had 1/5 of his total yards in that game and 2 of his 4 TDs. Fast forward to 2024 ALL of Diontes production came in the 6 starts he had with Dalton he had 2 targets for ZERO YARDS IN THE FIRST TWO WEEKS WITH BRYCEY AND THE MAIN REASON HE WAS LET GO WAS HOW PISSED HE WAS WHEN BRYCEY STARTED AGAIN..... Im done you are so deluded you can't see the truth.
  6. I use it just to describe the PA/deep up/fade/corner and post... those were pretty non existent in the original spread, coryell is the run and shoot type stuff now a days i think. I think modern wise all offenses have a form of coryell now though as well as elements of the spread/west coast.
  7. I think hes been fantastic with the pass rush hes been paired with.... if we had even a league average pass rush he doesnt give up a lot of the plays he has.
  8. A lot of Horns come in just 2-3 games the rest of the time the ball doesnt go his way much I will say i dont think many of his misses are in run support.... I feel its usually when hes shocked they threw it his way or missed a play on the ball
  9. hmmmm what postion is 100% dependant on the QB to have meaningful impact...... ill wait
  10. And hes was trying to be slick glossing over the guys who had success. Tbh Diontae Johnson was the perfect WR for brycey if he hadn't been a headcase he turned a ton of bryces 2 yarders into 1sts.
  11. Indeed, and thats the thing he exells at the hybrid west coast spread/ air coryell PA shots that Canalles likes to take.
  12. Invested since 2023 to try and make brycey successful..... 2 first round WRs including a top ten pick 1 2nd round WR 2 highest at signing paid offensive guards 67% OF THE TEAMS TOTAL SALARY CAP INVESTED ON OFFENSE. Completly disregarding Theilin who was 32 at the time of signing and produced well for us because hes fallen of a cliff at age 36 is ridiculous. Same goes for Dionte Johnson he was a threat when he played.
  13. Agreed like I said I hope we sign a QB in the offseason like Winston or Howell who can actually run Cannales offense without handcuffs I think a lot of DCs problems stem from not being able to do what he wants and being so handicapped play calling wise that he "out smarts himself"
  14. I mean we are limited in our options realistically, Howell is a Baker esque player who put up 4k and 22tds in his one year starting... with no weapons and a horrible oline. Oh I'm sure out the gates he wouldnt have a chance vs teppers golden brycey but if we stumble out he gates again Canales may injury list him again to try and save his job.
  15. That was me when I retorted the front office clearly expected him to be a brees/Wilson hybrid.
  16. You act like he is going to fill that slight frame out and suddenly grow 2 inches to be the same height (yes I know Brycey is WWE billed height at 5'10 but its obvious they measured his hair he's 5'8 on a good day I've met him at training camp myself I'm just a shade over 6'0 barefoot and he comes up to the bottom of my chin. Getting older also isn't gonna magically make him grow a pair of balls.
  17. What he said obviously isn't the CASE the team clearly expected a prime Russell Wilson/Drew Brees combo of some sort you can see that from how the plays were designed before they realized hes too much of a b*tch to attempt the things Wilson did and not accurate enough to make the throws Brees did.
  18. You don't give up what we did and take a guy #1 overall if any of the crap he said is true.
  19. Bryce is so bad I'm praying they sign Howell and give him a shot in Canales modified run/spread/PA air Coryell.... Brycey cant consistently hit the deeper plays to make it effective.
  20. I think he has improved..... very very slightly year to year at this rate with his limitations he will finally cap out as Brock Purdy in 2036
  21. im well aware of that you do know the motion required to generate a throw like that is extremely painfull on the opposite shoulder too right? Also it was the longest pass he threw all night at 27 air yards.... hardly a "bomb"
  22. Lamar slightly built a made of glass aging duel threat (yea hes 28 but that's old for his play style). Mahomes suffered a busted kneecap in 2019 on a sneak. Rodgers ran them all the time until is late 30s..... not the same as not believing the guy has the strength to make it successful.
  23. AND THIS RIGHT HERE IS THE ENDEMIC PROBLEM..... 17 POINTS ON A TEN LOSS TEAM 163 YARDS PASSING AND 1TD IS ONE OF HIS TOP FIVE GAMES
