I dont know about wins because you still have to score but adding just Luke in the Middle was worth a minimum of 10 spots in defensive rankings.

Leonard had three good seasons and his best year was his rookie season... he put up comparable stats to Luke his first year but he didn't elevate the indy defense the way luke did ours. As a former linebacker and someone who two out of my 3 favorite all time Panthers were MLBs I agree with you whole heartedly (Luke and Dan) a true Elite MLB is the field general and tone setter of a defense.

In his prime? They definitely could have gotten 2 first for him in 2013..... In today's NFL? Probably not

Lol Sweisgenger may be good but the dude doesn't even really compare to Luke athleticly other that a similar vertical.... much slower 40 3 cone... What made Luke great was that athletism combined with insane preparation command of the defense and ability to diagnose plays. There really hasn't been an "Elite" MLB since luke retired (yea I know Wagner is still around even now but IMO he was never truly feared by offenses like Luke)

You have to think he still ends up traded by midpoint at the latest of that contract

This isnt so much the issue as how BAD he is defensively..... Playing a man down we were legitimately better than he was on the ice defensively. He was a healthy scratch for a reason when Janakowski was healthy in the post season the only "odd" roster choice rod made that was the correct call.

My bet is won't be addressed until the deadline..... Not having a legit 2C won't affect our ability to have a top 4 team in the regular season.... As far as how? I dont know but we have plenty of space and assets to make moves then

I mean i agree with most of this and ngl I'm a big sports gambler (I'm up around 6 figures since it was legalized in nc) but the adds are f*cking annoying as hell. Agreed entirely. I just want Mays to be the starter from the get go he's a starting caliber center. You won't find anyone who can perform that good on the heap.

Eeehhh we are hoping he is better than last years second half, tbh trying to be objective i find it hard to believe any QB would be successful with what he dealt with his first two years. Honestly no matter what I dont think he will be as bad as the beginning of last year dude was derrick carr'ed... beyond that anything is possible IMO.

Ehhh center is two injuries away imo, I dont think for a second all three stay healthy, but Christenson played very well at C.... Honestly I dont know why Mays isnt the starter you won't find a better center on the scap heap.... I'm not worried about the position I'm more worried they dont play the right guy all year and have continuity....

Again not really disagreeing just pointing out that offenses that couldn't score 10 the week before us were dropping 21 by the mid second quarters..... no qb is changing that. Like I said in the other thread this season depends on the oline in my book if the oline can protect Bryce especially early in the year so his confidence stays high i believe later in the year even when he's not getting great protection he will make plays.

I think he definitely can be, and I think a lot of him being the guy lies with that oline.... because Bryces continued development is tied to them especially early in the year if he can continue to build his confidence, late last year when he had his "swag" even when they weren't perfect he was making plays and improvisimg.

Ehhhh gonna have to say the worst defense in NFL history also had somthing to do with it.... We didn't run much late in games.... Although I do agree to an extent, I'll just say it's hard to run the ball when your down 20 by the mid 2nd every week.
