  1. Honestly, I don't think we're in the right draft position to get a haul, but you never know... To be honest, I think we'd be remiss to pass up on a Tyler Warren, provided that Carter and Graham are off the board (and maybe McMillan also who, not surprisingly in retrospect, didn't participate).
  2. True true, but one man's trash is another's gold. If there's a surprise or micro slide, some GM is going to be chomping at the bit to exploit their newfound opportunity. Moreover, somewhere within their minds will be Michael Penix Jr. and Bo Nix. Someone's gonna call Dan, but will what they're offering get him to move? That will be the question.
  3. Jaxson Dart, Tyler Shough, Quinn Ewers, Brady Cook, Will Howard...?Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders aren't necessarily locks to go before us either--they probably will, but there will be some surprises. A blue chip player, or especially a trade back is still very much a possibility.
  4. You college nerds, my hats off to you, we're relying on your knowledge somewhat.
  5. Not saying you're wrong, but I'll believe it when I see it. I don't see a Pep out there that I can take for granted before he hits the field.
  6. He has been accused once in highschool and once in college. Not a good look. I wouldn't want him on my team.
  7. By the way, Greg Olsen would've been worth it to the Bears had they known how to use him, but they're the ones that fuged up.
  8. I saw what Clark and Shockey did, and there is a huge argument that they were key players in their championship runs (meaning that their respective teams don't win without them). Being a legit receiving threat, but more importantly, a legitimate outlet for your QB, particularly on money downs, is very important. If you want to argue against that, then you're right, we don't have anything more to discuss on this issue. I'm not stumping for Warren either. I've consistently said BPA, and I doubt he's going to be it.
  9. I wouldn't this year, but TEs can be important to the offense, and a QB's best friend depending if they are the right fit. It's not all about simple stats, though the best ones in history put up fairly prolific numbers.
  10. Brock Bowers, and I'm standing on that. Jeremy Shockey and Dallas Clark were probably worth it as well.
  11. Well, you really never know how these things are going to go, but let me say this: unlike Devin Funchess, Tet McMillan is a receiver, and he's one with some real production unlike Kelvin Benjamin. Moreover, no one questions his heart, whether or not he wants to play the game, or whether he's a head case. People may forget, that there was something to be excited about after Benjamin's rookie year. There is something to be said for a "big" receiver with a wide wingspan. We've seen it throughout the years. Tet is said to be relatively fluid--movements not expected of a player his size, has an outstanding wingspan, and, most importantly (at least for me), has flypaper hands. For me, that's at least a reason to strongly consider drafting him after working him out to see if he's a fit for what you're trying to do.
  12. Well, that's assuming that it's actually a "reach." I'll add that reaching for any player at any position will not lead to desired results.

    #1 need

I agree, but...you still should draft the BPA and exercise discipline in regards to reaching. Your post speaks to team building as much as anything. That being said, sure college talent is perhaps the main part of that, but free agency should not be overlooked. Zach Baun played a huge part in Philly's championship run. Howie Roseman knows how to build a team (including using free agency), and their scouting department knows how to spot talent.
  15. Starks will go to a team like Pittsburgh and become a potential Hofer.
  16. Garrett has played at an historical level. He's up there with Deacon Jones and Reggie White. Just saying. Parsons may be younger, but he isn't better. -------------- In general, I don't think it's realistic that we trade for either one of them. That's akin to Pyrex fantasy.
  17. Yeah, I'm a Georgia alum, and I don't see Walker as elite...not yet, anyway.
  18. Both of whom are likely outside the top 10, just saying.
  19. Yeah, some people in this thread are letting their Smitty hate show. Cam shouldn't have said what he said, period. Smitty could've reacted a lot worse, as could CJ. Some others probably have some thoughts on the issue as well. You don't throw your teammates under the bus in public. Cam has certainly lost some cool points.
  20. I mean, Eagles' fans booed Santa Claus. So...
  21. "Trouble creating separation" is a bit much from what I've seen and have been reading.
