  1. Or the one with the higher upside, depending upon what you're looking for.
  2. Every receiver basically has off games. Even pros eat on certain days and not so much on others. It doesn't take that many yards per game to be a thousand yard receiver. Cherry picking and overanalyzing production is too easy to do for anyone. It's not like South Carolina was ripe with talent. Even Rattler wasn't the greatest of QBs (though I'd take him now). Y'all can sh¡t on his outstanding production, but numbers don't lie.
  3. Nah. Drops weren't a big concern coming out of SC. They were focus drops, and that can be coached. He didn't have any games that year what he's looked like now. Come on, man.
  4. I mean, I'm a Georgia alum, I know all about Ladd, and probably would've drafted him over Legette for that very reason. He isn't the biggest receiver. I even said at the time that I considered him more of a comp to Cooper Cupp (albeit a faster version).
  5. I tell you no lies. I just got started early.
  6. This may be absolutely true. He honestly probably needs to mute the social media stuff, if for nothing else because of how it looks when juxtaposed against his struggles, but the HC and the QB haven't done the kid any favors. In general, I guess I can see why some think the kid is sh¡t (basically), but I bet that he'd be doing better in a better situation.
  7. Legette had an outstanding season his last year. That's undeniable. Considering his terrible QBs, covid disruption, and simply personal tribulations, you have to take all of that into account. You're trying to act like no one wanted him. He was over-drafted by us somewhat, but I bet that he'd have gone somewhere in the second anyway. It's easy to make all kinds of hindsight evaluations, but there was a lot---and still is---of upside with Legette. Sometimes you take big swings and miss. But, like I said, I still think it's too early to be giving up.
  8. That's understandable---and, yes, I'm making excuses for him---but we're talking a couple of brain farts solely on him. He's in a bit of a funk really since his injury last season. Let's see what happens today.
  9. I mean, come on, you really can't base anything on two games, especially those last two of Legette's. AD Mitchell is not lighting the world on fire by any means, and certainly didn't his rookie year. One thing I will say is that a change of QB, as well as competent coaching, can make a huge difference.
  10. Perhaps. Everyone says he works on his game. Legette was a lot better early last season, and then he was hurt. It's been a struggle since then, but I just have a hard time believing that this underperformance will remain.
  11. Hot Fries and Brisk Tea, and leftover Papa Johns. LOL
  12. I mean, the safe pick was Ladd, but he wasn't without an injury history. Sometimes you guess wrong. As for myself, I'm not burying the kid, but many of you are based upon the sentiment. Bury away.
  13. Based on what? A supposedly missed draft prospect? The professionals miss all the damned time. Your comment makes little sense.
  14. You're overblowing one pass where he failed to get his foot in bounds, and you're also overblowing his social media presence. Fans, not even Southern ones care about that over football at the end of the day. Sure, he's struggling mentally, but there is a reason for that. He hasn't received too many legit catchable balls. He also isn't being sent on many slants, in-breaking or out-breaking routes from what I see which basically means he's being misused. If nothing else, Andy (and Mahomes) knows how to use his talent and maximize their efficiency, which seems to be Legette's biggest problem at this point. The reason why KC is having problems is because they have relied on Mahomes to be a super hero and haven't drafted enough legitimate talent at the position, have refused to draft a Kelce replacement, and, last but not least, have suffered because Rice hasn't been on the field a full season. They really need an influx of talent at all of their offensive skill positions. Legette would probably pair well Mahomes, and he would certainly being coached and used better in KC.
  15. If Legette was drafted by KC, he would be well on his way to being an established threat.
  16. I mean, the story is not over, and may not be completed until we field a QB that's not continually under-throwing balls and has better timing.
  17. I mean, I don't know what you expect. After so many years of utter failure, including the rare---maybe unique---Bryce Young experience, Panthers fanatics are fed the fúck up. The organization has legitimately earned that hyper criticism.
  18. Man they brought up some truth-telling stats on Bryce's performance last Sunday (that some others are trying to trump up). Moreover, they just really brought up some bad memories. Good grief. Where are we headed? Canales, and Bryce are indeed at a crossroads. The fans are indeed on the precipice of checking out. You know that Tepper's trigger finger has to be getting itchy. Evero can't really be a fall guy if he needs to be fired anyway. Can Idzik fire the offense up if Canales fails to do so? There are too many issues born of negativity and not enough answers arising from positivity. The last few years have been mentally exhausting for diehard Panthers fans.
  19. If there is no hope, there certainly isn't any belief. We're going nowhere.
  20. And that's exactly what the charts indicate. I think that he may do it so much because he can't see the field. Those huge NFL lineman are impeding his view.
  21. I mean, America has enough fake outrage and brazen hypocrisy.
