Correct. The one interception this year was from trying to do too much instead of taking a sack. Taking the sack shows progress.

There are hopefully 2 pieces already on the roster but just on the bench. If they missed on both o-line picks this year, that would suck. I don't think they did. I think they are just bringing them along slower than most of us would like.

Sam being this much of a red zone threat is the biggest surprise of anything. I knew he could throw, his ability to find the endzone with his legs is remarkable.

Of course nothing definitive, but we can only judge what has happened thus far, and today was bad.

Davis Mills has looked the best on the field out of all of them. Lawrence has looked awful, Wilson has looked worse than awful, Mac Jones fully healthy has a weaker arm than a post shoulder injury Cam, and Justin Fields looked 3 steps behind everyone else on the field today. I am beyond happy the team went with Sam.

The worst refs I have seen since legit 2016. High School caliber refs, and not even varsity. These dudes should be working JV on Thursday afternoon before taking up a night shift at a 7-11.
