33 1/4 inch arms are not long enough for a NFL OT.

You might have missed what zod was trying to paint. -
David fuggin newton. He's been around WAY too long.

That was our post superbowl loss haul. That was our attempt to replace josh norman and a whole slew of players that we just dropped that had helped us get to the superbowl. That was our effort to reload. Pathetic.

That's what I was thinking too. We're going to need him on the field A LOT. Guy is a nasty blocker who is just looking for one or two players to pancake.

I think by the time the draft comes next year we'll probably have it back. These guys know how to create picks

Round 3(a) - Carolina Panthers Select BYU OT Brady Christensen
rayzor replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yep. Last one was pretty surprising and unpredictable as well, but this one seems to have more strategy in it. And I still have not had any idea what to expect. I love it. You think you know and boom... -
Round 2 - Carolina Panthers select LSU WR Terrace Marshall

Yeah. Guy sounds like an awesome teammate. Future walter payton award winner or something like that. -

Yow! I don't know what that means...but it sounds impressive. -
Round 2 - Carolina Panthers select LSU WR Terrace Marshall

This is hilarious to me. Was an absolute stud and one of the best, most reliable, and most productive performers in college football...and that was him unfocused at times. -

Wasn't expecting it. Ain't hating it. -
Get them all.

Crap. They got grant
-
He's the defensive version of Pitts.
-
The thing is he could be the best.

I like him. Good and humble, but incredibly confident young man. I like the 'come with an open cup' philosophy. Watching his progress from year to year, you can really see him internalize that already. Dudes going to be a stud.

Double dip SEC CB's, select Tyson Campbell in round 2

Did we forget we also got bouye who is going to be on the other side of the field? -
Cosmi has some serious potential. Guy reacts fast and has some great awareness of poo happening around him. He's quick for a big guy too. Just needs some weight on him.
-
That Grant is like a sniper. You never see him or hear him coming. All that happens is your drive just drops dead. Not at all like the junk yard dog horn we got yesterday. That defense would be lethal.

Love Jaycee Horn and he was third on my board, but...
rayzor replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
You've got to trust your board. Otherwise, what's the point of it? -
Dude definitely has a lot of fight in him. He plays angry and with something to prove, but he's also very much in control. Yes, he got a bit handsy and got a few flags, but he'll frustrate the hell out of whoever he covers and control them on the field. He won't get much in the way of numbers, but that's because the QB won't have much of any windows to throw into so the QB will just have to find another option to throw to. He'll get picked on and tested early on, but QBs will learn to throw at someone else. I don't worry about him covering any player, especially any big receiver. He's up to it and he'll shut them down.
-
Yep. I used them a lot when I played FFB years back just because they had the best data. I liked that all they did was stats. Interpretation of those stats has been a massive fail.
-
They didn't have the personnel for man coverage so they didn't run it...but they wanted to. Now they do... so they will. Shouldn't be this complicated.
-
It makes me uncomfortable because I had wanted this year to be all about that offense, but I'm kind of getting obsessed with this idea of a defense that completely shuts down any offense. Lockdown defense will make it a lot easier for our offense. Better field position, less pressure to score, etc. And we've got big time playmakers on offense to score when we need. Yes we need help at LT and OG and ...well...OC. and yes, Darnold is nothing but a big '?' There's still more opportunities to improve the OL and this defense along with CMC and the receiver corps will give Darnold plenty of real chances to succeed.

Some good stuff in here. I always had a lot of respect for Taylor as a player. Seems he's got some big respect for Horn.
