    That's who I'm thinking as well. Canales wants a brain trust who could step in if needed. Focus isn't really on being a backup as much as someone to offer .02 in the classroom and sidelines. I would like a developmental guy as well. Just makes sense to do that, but I see where Canales is going.

    yeah i almost feel bad for him and his wife because they worked so hard to become a part of the community down here. oh well...moving on.

    sometimes a good thing is just a good thing. it's a good thing that happened. let it be just a good thing that happened. you know, until/unless it turns out to not be one. but just focus on the idea that this might just be a good thing for us and be glad it did. it's ok to enjoy things like this from time to time.

    i mean he could be. i don't know. i do think that the injury thing is overblown, though. that's not a concern i have. doesn't seem like anything he was dealing with would be long term issues.

    he could choose worse mentors. andy reid could benefit from canales some as well...but more as a personal trainer than anything.

    yeah, as good and as deep as this class is, there's going to be first level talent falling all through the second round...especially in the WR ranks.
