Since we know BY9 can toss it down field, get someone who can scare secondaries. #3 we've got a clean slate on safeties this year. Rebuild it right. #4 do what you can to keep horn around #5 do what you can to keep the OTs around. It just makes sense.

defense doesn't win you games. it helps you keep from losing games you should win, which is what happened here the last half of the season. the first half of the season we never stood a chance either way.

this is the right answer. we had a HISTORICALLY bad defense that gave up far more points than they should have and actually cost us games we would have won by scoring as much as we did. When Bryce came back, he wasn't the problem. He would have been the reason we won games had the defense not given up so much. i don't know what's worse....the fact that this thread exists in the first place or that there are so many that have an issue with him doing whatever he wants after the season is over. y'all making way too big a deal out of this. but whatever...overreact about every little thing is what we do around here.
