Nagai's 1st Round Mock with Full Analyses of Every Pick

Great mock. This would be a great outcome for the Panthers. Not sure I see birth the Eagles and the Chiefs passing on a WR - which in your mock probably means Lee goes to NO.

Also you have Xavier (UCLA OG) going twice, once to the Chiefs and once to the Seahawks. I'm guessing one if those was supposed to be Bitonio?

I like the fit if Kelvin Benjamin in Cleveland - Manziel made great use of Evans at A&M and might need a receiver like that in the NFL to bail him out of some bad decisions.

Thanks dude.

Good spotting on XSF. Honestly, I just missed it. The Chiefs' pick was a last minute change, so one slipped through the cracks. Now fixed, with the Seahawks taking Robinson.

I'm a fan of Robinson - have been hoping he would somehow slip to 60. Think he is an option for the Panthers at 28 if Lee is off the board?

I like him a lot too! I'd hope he'll be an option, but my gut says that there will be players rated higher than him. Gettleman would probably BPA someone else.

    • Apparently CSW lost his starting job to Thornton last year. If he can stay healthy I bet Thornton keeps that NB position.
    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
