GM RICH CHO

Anyone worry about what this guy will do with the no9 pick (assuming we keep it) or is it just me?

His top notched "comprehensive player database" gave us Bismack Biyombo, MKG, and Cody Zeller while we passed up on guys like Lillard, Thompson, Leonard, Drummond, Beal, and MCW.

Cho should really take a piece out of Dave Gettleman's play book ( BPA ) and throw that piece of $hit in the dumpster!

I guarantee that database will have us taking Doug McDermott.

I aint worried. We have 3 picks in a deep draft loaded with talent. Plus we will more than likely add another top tier free agent.

You're not worry about taking McDermott over Harris, Stauskas, etc? Maybe even over Julius Randle if he's there.

I'm worried, that's one reason I'm really open to trading it.

Im with you. However, I would rather trade down than for a player.

I would love to talk with Chicago for those two picks.

(16) Tyler Ennis

(19) James Young / Rodney Hood / Zach Lavine

(24) PJ Hairston / Cleanthony Early

Ok heres the core

Kemba 3yrs experience

Biyombo 3yrs

Mkg 2 yrs

Jeff Taylor 2 yrs

Cody zeller 1yr

In my honest opinion we aren't gonna be adding 4 more young rookie players to the mix. Which would make us very very young.

I fully expect to see some trades go down involving picks and possibly some players.

There's just no way u add 4 or 3 more rookies to this team.

Nobodies even mentioned this yet, but with the way people hate Kemba I'm sure some would be all over it. Rondo?????

I don't understand the hate for Kemba or Cho.  Cho brought in some good players, hell he got big Al to come here.  Hes a young guy and has proven that he has the potential to help build a big time team like OKC.

MKG was the BPA at the time, and he honestly has shown that he has the ability, IMO to make a huge difference on this team.  He was the reason we even had a sniff at winning game 2.  Bismack is a project and I think we all realized that when he was drafted.  I love Biz.  He's improved every year on both sides of the ball.  Hes still only like 22 or something like that.

To knock him for Zeller is just dumb.  Zeller is another guy who has shown flashes and has grown over the course of the year.

I've said it already. Im not going to rule out a Kemba trade. Especially with now having the no9 pick, no one should rule it out.

Tyler Ennis could be the pick at no9. A trade of Kemba + no24 / no45 to get us a vet shooter could happen. Maybe for Afflalo or someone else.

PG: Tyler Ennis

SG: Aaron Afflalo

SF: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

PF: Marcin Gortat / Cody Zeller

C: Al Jefferson / Bismack Biyombo

Maybe?

Other than bringing in Al and trading Maggette for the no9 pick this year, Cho hasn't done much.

You really can't say that MKG was BPA at the time. MKG might've been the favorite for majority of CLT fan like myself. MKG, Barnes, and Beal were all neck and neck.

Whoa whoa whoa, where does Gortat come from? That'd be awesome

Gortat is a FA. The dude is very underrated and a defensive presence. Would pair up nicely along with Al. And, Gortat won't break the bank.

Washington may rather go after Monroe who is younger. Monroe (Georgetown) would probably love to head back to D.C.

    • we are not talking about the 5th we are talking about bryce being one of if not the worst starter in the nfl for the past 3 years.  Dont move the goalposts my man
    • The issue is the position Bryce plays. Finding a good/great quarterback isn't easy. Plus, it sometimes takes years for these guys to actually become good/great. What you have to look for is progress instead of regression. Bryce has shown that. Can he put it all together? We don't know yet. But that's why you place a smaller bet with the 5th year option, and wait to see. You could be wrong and lose your 30 mil bet, but you didn't hitch your wagon long-term and lose much more.
    • Absolutely not. That’s too much for replacement level player. Bryce may be that. Or he may turn into something more. If you can’t see the flashes, you’re willfully blind. There’s more bad than good right now, but there’s less bad than there was earlier in his career. He’s only 24 and he’s showing signs of improvement. He may never become consistent enough to justify a long term contract, but he’s shown enough to roll the dice on what effectively will turn into a 2 year, $30MM contract for the next two years to see if he can earn something longer.    Sure, in his one season starting, Howell managed to throw for 3,946 yards and toss 21 TDs, but it took throwing the ball an astounding 612 times. He also threw 21 INTs (for a particularly egregious 3.4 INT%). For all the talk of him being a deep ball thrower, he still only averaged 6.4 YPA, with an average air yards of 5.6 yards per attempt. And for all the excuses of Washington’s line giving him no protection (65 sacks taken that year), he was only pressured on 22.7% of his dropbacks, which is a few percentage points lower than what Bryce has had to deal with each year (24.2, 26.7, and 24.0%).    These are all numbers that are at best roughly equivalent to Bryce’s production the past two years. It’s wild to me people can claim so confidently that he’s a better QB.
