GOOD NEWS for everyone living/visiting the Atlanta Area! The Panthers GROWL Club has officially teamed up with The Bucket Shop Cafe in Buckhead to be the official Panthers Game Day Bar!  We are really excited about this opportunity!  If you are interested, we set up a group Facebook page with all of the information.  You can like us at www.facebook.com/PanthersGrowlClubATL or email me at [email protected].  I look forward to seeing everyone there!

You're doing good work, sir. Someone needs to turn Jeff's Bucket Shop in Charlotte into a Panthers bar.

Usually having a TV is a requirement to be a Panthers bar. Maybe just an after-party spot for the incredibly wasted?

Haha. I only really went there once, and I was pretty damn wasted. To be honest, I don't think I would want to spend a Sunday afternoon there. The only actual Panthers bar I can think of is Cans though. Is there an away-game Panthers bar in Charlotte?

I moved the Cans:Recycled location to a new bar this year right beside the stadium. It's called Draught (pronounced Draft). We are looking at doing the away games there this year too. Draught has a nice basement with a cool courtyard off of it and they're going to give us the entire lower area, for starters, to see if we can get Panthers fans out for away games. If we bring enough people then the whole building is ours.

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
